TGH, The numbers say different. Marino is top 5 all time. Griese no way...

Clue, That is just dumb. Look at who Griese had playing next to him versus Marino having veirtually nothing for the bulk of his career.

Hey Caddy, why the shot at Marino? He was much better than Griese ever was...

Armando, Are any of those free agents working out in North Miami worth a look? I know the ex FSU DB is down there.

Armando, Regarding Sparano, Philbin at least inspires hope. I cannot understand why Ryan chose Sparano as his OC. The NY press labels him the father of the Wildcat yet David Lee brought it to MIami, Sparano was supposed to an O-Line guru (ours was in constant turnover) and he was never an offensive coodinator. I am unsure of why he was ever considered an up and coming coach.

Armando, With Marshall out, what is the line up in the secondary now?

Kris, Granted the Pats have played poorly this year thus far but I still do not see an answer given our secondary for the two starting tight ends for the Pats.

The best thing for Miami is to continue to improve and continue to lose. This team does not have enough to go anywhere this year but additional high picks could contribute greatly next year and the all important year three of the Philbin project. Talks regarding the demise of the Pats are silly. They have multiple high picks and don’t forget, they were able to go 11-5 in 2008 without Brady. The Fins just need to continue moving in the right direction and all will cure itself.

If the Fin's could score TD's in the red zone instead of kicking field goals, this attrocious call is moot. Henning sucks. I also think the comment at the end of this article regarding the ref's place of birth and ties to Western PA are rather juvenile. I think the refs blew the call but implying that the head ref is a Steeler fan is well...stupid and is merely pandering to an angry blog audience.

The arrogance of Jeff Ireland is the same type of arrogance exhibited by the NFL. The laws of the land do not seem to apply to a very wealthy league which seems to make its own rules. Konrad was correct that this question would not be correct in any other industry but the reality is that it is not correct in ANY industry including the NFL. Mike Ditka ripped Ireland for his comments and Ross should fine or suspend Ireland for this incident. For all of you who feel that just because you pay someone a lot of money that person should be subjected to these types of questions should take a basic HR course to see what is acceptable in the workplace. And yes morons the NFL is a workplace where rules that apply to each of us still apply there.

I saw Cassel play a nice game against the Phins two years ago in Foxboro. Pats have to have momentum. I don't think this game is over...We cannot have a three and out...
Not to be ignorant, but why do you think moving the offensive lineman around during the game has been successful?

No suprise Pat's fans are booing. I have been there when they have boo'd Brady for an INT when they were winning...They are lousy fans...

Would of, could of, should of...Hindsight is easy...Better yet, how is this mess going to be fixed? Unfortunately there has been nothing to indicate that this latest "savior" (Sparano) is any different from the last two (Saban, Cameron)...I knew we did not have much a of a chance against AZ but to be so completely outclassed is unacceptable. We should be able to at least compete in the first half before our lack of depth kills us. Nothing in the AZ game indicates that we are any different from last year. In fact, last year we were able to keep games close...That three year plan is looking more like five...

I say get Chad Jackson and dump Wilford. What are you really losing? If Jackson sucks he will be inactive which is what Wilford was this past week. Jackson's main problem has been injury. The UF receiver thing is so stupid. It's akin to say not to draft a UM player because he is a thug. Past results are not indicative of the future. Besides, there have been good Gator receivers (Collinsworth, Darrel Jackson), and bad Miami receivers with Yatil Green being one of the worst. Percy Harvin will be a number one pick if he continues to develop...
