Thanks for posting this. I always felt so stupid in english literature classes in HS and freshman year in college. Why couldn't I see what i was 'supposed' to see? You've given me a new perspective. Who's to say my interpretations were wrong? And I totally agree on Great Expectations still sucking and 1984 and Shakespeare being awesome post HS. Romeo and Juliet may not be my fav, but you can't deny how powerful and beautiful it is, folks.
