My very first book, FairyLand, has been out-of-print for a while, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to up-date it a little, before reprinting again. I have added a brand new project, a cot-size, butterfly quilt. Here's a sneak peak... The new, improved FairyLand book, should be available in stores in February. Some more recent projects, in stores now, include, Flaxton Fields Pocket Tote... a small tote featuring a cute stitchery. Little Critter Purses... 2 designs in the one pattern – little zippered coin purses. and, Love & Friendship Sewing Set, a zippered case, large enough to... Continue »

This weekend I made these CUTE little pouches! And these sunny pouches! These two remind me of life in Eugene, Oregon! And these funky pouches! They measure about 4.5x5.5 inches, and I had fun choosing fabrics from my stash. I love how they turned out! They can be used to hold any number of things that get tucked into purses... a phone, lip gunks, notepads, coupons, etc. It's always nice to have a little "catch all" in your purse, I think! What a handy, dandy little pouch! I found a pattern online, and then altered it a bit so that the final product ended up being the size I wanted. Purdy darn cute, if you ask me! Continue »

Happy Hump Day! We're one day closer to the weekend, and you know how I LOVE the weekend! Today I'm participating in a High Hopes blog hop to celebrate the release of two new stamp lines, "Two by Two" and "Senior Moments". This is Gardening Gertie, and she might just be my favorite senior of the Senior Moments line. Clearly she has a bit of style. And, I think she's wearing my hat! I can only hope to be so cute when I'm a senior! I stamped Gertie in Memento ink and colored her with ShinHan Touch Twin markers. The prints and colors in the October Afternoon Woodland Park paper were just perfect for my project! That cute little tag is by Taylored Expressions, and the sentiment is by Stampin' Up!. Since we're celebrating today's new release with a blog hop, High Hopes is offering some blog candy along the hop. But you won't know where, so make sure you leave a comment at each stop just in case that's the home of the candy! The blog hop ends at 7pm EST on Sunday, January 13th with the blog candy winners being posted on Tuesday, January 15th on the High Hopes blog. Now, hop along the participating designer blogs for some fun and inspiration... Have fun! Kristine Karen Alie Michelle Aaemie Lynne Alex.
