This makes me so freaking glad I had a kid and so freaking impatient for the day to arrive that I can perpetrate some serious Trollness. Merry all the things to you and yours.

Okay, I loved the whole deal and would throw a few bucks at more fo sho. Assuming a job or some sort of income falls into my lap by such a time. I agree with the tripods for reading and such, but I think the jiggity quality adds to the feel of real actual life happening. It was frustrating not to be able to view the recordings on my iphone or ipad as i don't often get much time on my comp until the way late. Such is the price of beauty and sleek sexy pods, I suppose. Do more. Making beer, backstage(ps btw, how did I manage to miss the Ptown show? You gotta pimp that shit on your blog, yo.), Comicon. We geeks are legion and we want more.

My anaconda. Don't want none unless you got buns, hon. *whip crack* Sorry, couldn't resist. I must carry the corniness gene too.
I would kill for the Stella bag in gray. Well, maybe kill is a strong word. Maim, perhaps? Or smack? Actually more likely I'd give a stern look of disapproval and maybe a strongly voiced, "Whatever" and then I'd wash my hands of the whole situation. So yeah, Stella in gray. And we'd go all the places a 2 1/2 year finds to explore. Anywhere there's dirt, bugs and adventure to be had. Basically, anywhere I take him.

That episode was the rad. But I'm really here to say that Monday's Eureka was full to the rim with the win. I'm going to Titan, baby! I was DYING.

Dude, kid can SNAP! I grew up in Cali with some time in the Midwest and never even imagined that weather could be something you came to miss. Living in Oregon, we're pretty damn familiar with the gray and rainys but it's always sneak attack weather - no thunder and rarely any visible lightning. We were lucky enough to be on an annual visit to the GF, MT last night and experience the wonder of that crazy Mother Nature rolling in like right outta my childhood and cracking her whip. Thanks for the visuals, it'll be a nice reminder in the depth of the gray this winter.
Me so sad.

Stand By Me was a classic to me after my first viewing. It's one of those movies that just settle into you and make you see the world in a subtly different way. I felt a sort of authenticity that doesn't usually come with movies geared toward kids or youth or whatever. What a thing to be a part of. Fucking weird life indeed. Fucking crazy, wonderful, awesome, rad, weird life.

Silly man, don't you know the internets is big enough for the hotness - old and new? You hurled me right back to age 12 with Private Eyes and the Hollywood Bowl. Thank sweet lady internet for YouTube. (CLAPCLAP!) And ps, btw, my cat waked me up on the daily at 4am with her infernal scratching. Cats are bullshit during the sleeping hours.

First time reading this story, been roaming around the archives for awhile now. I love the way you tell a story and your obvious affection for your family. I can totally identify with the agonizingly embarrassing acts of adolescence and found this story quite touching after taking my son to see the fireworks for the first time yesterday. Now I'm psyched for him to get old enough to light up some groundflowers and see where it takes us:)
