Such a different guy from the kid on stage who wouldn't take his hood off the whole club show five years back. Glad he's emerging as his own artist - and learning to enjoy the spotlight.
Patrick Stump says his solo streak isn't new at all
Formerly of Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump's voice might be familiar to a lot of casual listeners, but his face probably isn't. That's because the singer has dropped a significant amount of weight, opted for the bottle of peroxide or bleach — giving him the golden-haired blond locks he currently h...

Dude, take a chill pill. The song ISN'T a complete joke, as it is their first single. And as for it being ironic, that's all well and good, but in the end it's just plain bad, whether it's ironic or not. As an ATL fan, i was disappointed with the whole thing. You can be humorous and clever and do it well, and it can be great. Or you can do it poorly and get... this.
All Time Low's new single "I Feel Like Dancin'" feels like a letdown
Less than week after reporting on Simple Plan's new disappointing single, the release of All Time Low's single gave pop-rock fans hope that new, catchy music to rock out to was on the horizon. Those fans, unfortunately, are in for a letdown with "I Feel Like Dancin'." Let's start off with the l...

Augustana's self-titled third album reveals the band's true sound
Music is evolutionary. Every band goes on a journey from album to album, searching for the exact sound that is distinctly there’s and no one else’s, enabling them to leave their own mark on the musical world. In today’s market, when technology allows anyone with a decent computer to record and ...

While i appreciate the connection many people feel to "Glee," in the end it is just a television show, and the Kings of Leon turning down the offer was just business, plain and simple. It's as though the band turned down having their song on "American Idol" or something other program. Many of the people scrambling to have their music on "Glee" now aren't doing it because they believe in music programs, they're doing it because they want their song to hit number one on iTunes. It's not even as though "Glee" is a TV show of kids who are getting made fun of anymore - now it's a show full of actors with record deals and other wonderful opportunities covering songs by Britney Spears for an hour.
Personally, i think that as long as the band turned it down politely the first time, Ryan Murphy has no reason to be this mad. Kings of Leon feared being overplayed (which, by the way, they were - i still can't listen to "Use Somebody" without cringing) and so they turned down an offer to be on TV, one of many they got at that time.
In the end, "Glee" is great, but this whole fight is an overreaction and extremely stupid. At the moment i'm not happy with either side, especially after this: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/glee-creator-blasts-kings-of-leon-drummer-for-insulting-tweet-20110127
Glee creator Ryan Murphy more than mad at the Kings of Leon
Photo: Wireimage Ryan Murphy is not happy with Kings of Leon, and he's not holding one ounce of his red hot fury back. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the creator of the hit television Glee expressed how angry he is at Kings of Leon for not allowing the show to use their music, putt...
