In other words, just because offensive-minded metrics are more reliable than defensive-minded metrics doesn't mean offense is more valuable than defense. It just means we're measuring the value more accurately. I really should not ask but this is to good to let go. If offensive metrics are more reliable than defensive metrics how on earth are you measuring the value more accuratley? I might just be a dumb hick from Maine but common sense tells me something does not add up. Just sayin.

Really I am glad you were able to explain to me how a game is won. Up until now I had not understood. But now that you went ahead and put all of your stats in your fancy computer system it has relly cleared things up. Because we all know that the results that your computer spits out will tell you the whole story. In a fictitious world this may be usefull. You are measuring it more accuratley? How exactly are you measuring anything accurately when you do not have the measurments to measure it with? And please do not give me this BS about runs scored and runs allowed from last year and compare to the supposed runs saved or created in the 2010 season because it is imposible to prove. I could be wrong but if you increase RS by 5 and RA by 5 that is net of ZERO. Your computer might need to be recalibrated. Look at your watered down stimulus plug in a few false zip codes and a few million dollars and your measurements are flawed. But hey whats a few million dollars wasted among tax payers. yeh I went there. Statistics: The only science that enables different experts using the same figures to draw different conclusions.
