On the other hand, my two year old is in a lovely stage at pointing of pictures of Sleeping Beauty and models in magazines and saying "There's mummy". At least they balance each other out :)
you look like a man (or, a recent compliment from my kid)
So if you follow me on Twitter or like the Facebook page you already know this because I shared it right after it happened. But I'm going to draw it anyway because I have exactly "not enough" minutes to bust a proper post out. Consider this a placeholder and a way for me to say "hi" or something...
4 year old is full of lovely body related compliments..."Your bum is wobbly and it's funny" "Your tummy is squishy and you have lots of skin, but it's soft so that's ok" or "You have no milk because only big boobies have milk" - this clearly something he noticed when I was still breastfeeding my now two year old. Also when I sing along to a song he happens to like to he clamps his hands over his ears and screams "Nooooooooooo mummmy - don't ruin my favourite song!"

Oh - and the bum comment - of course it's during the being watched while trying to have a shower moment. Glad to know ot the only one with a child that won't let me shower in peace!
after eating, before and after kids
Eating. Eating is good. I like to eat. At the offering of good food, I've always been one to stuff myself. This is what it was like to stuff myself before I had kids: My stomach would hurt! I'd feel like I was going to burst! And now, this is what it is like to stuff myself, after having k...
Haha! I have the same food baby problem. After a decent meal I look about 5 months pregnant. Also my four year old was kind enough to lovingly point out to me "Ha ha mummy, your bum is wobbly and it's funny". All I could do was say thanks.

Fantastic!!! I have a 4 year old and 2.5. As soon as I start drifting off one will come, sometimes Mr 4 will go get his little sister and they will both assault me in the middle of the night, when I've finally fallen asleep, and then try play with me, whilst I accept their presence because I am just desperate to sleep. Eventually I may manage a few hours of sleep before the alarm goes off, need to get up, get kids and myself ready and get to work on time - do you think they will wake up. No and Mr 4 turns around when I wake him up - "I'm so tired Mummy" - hmmmm.... I wonder why!
what it is like to (not) sleep at night - illustrated with crappy pictures™
INTRO: Here is installment #2 in my "real life parenting" series. I draw crappy pictures because I don't have actual photos of these experiences. Here goes... ------------------------------------------------------ I've always been jealous of my husband's ability to fall asleep and stay asleep....
