I love lilacs. Their scent is just intoxicating. I live just south of Rochester, NY where there is quite a big fuss every year known as the Lilac Festival. http://www.lilacfestival.com/
When I was a child, one of my out of town aunts would visit and our family would go every year. The festival has gotten quite commercial now, but the lilacs are still beautiful.
