I just got my Mom to realize that iChat is not hard, and she's been video chatting all the time. New (to my non-geek family) technology is fun.

It's been painful, joyful, scary, and wonderful that Ryan's away at school, out of our house, and in a place -- physically and emotionally -- where I can't protect him. I have to hope that I did my job as a parent, and when he makes mistakes, they result in skinned knees and not broken bones. So...

On the advice of commenter MrPeach, I unplugged my television, disconnected and re-connected my HDMI cable, and powered back up. I'm not entirely sure why it worked, but it did, and now I can watch the US Open in HD. All my other channels came back, too, and the offending DRM-esque error message...

That doesn't seem as clear as I intended it. I loved the keynote, and would highly suggest you look into your opportunities on the motivational circuit. I know nothing about it, but I know your better than most of the corporate speakers I've ever seen.

The only thing worse than the Democrats is the Republicans, but today I'm even more pissed at the Democrats than usual. That bill made me want to throat punch someone. Notice that the bill makes something they were all ready doing legal. That means it was illegal. Where are the indictments?
