The slideshow program has difficulty showing the last slide due to it presuming the slideshow ends at the start of the last slide, rather than the end of it. I'm getting tired of these centrally hosted video/presentation sites.

Given that large-scale production exists mostly to maximize productivity, superfluous productivity sounds like an opportunity to scale down. Recent developments in personal manufacturing and DIY technology in general give me the impression that this is already starting to happen. More than merely reducing productivity, however, smaller scale production reduces single points of failure and allows for greater adaptability. In the creative fields, I see this as leading to an increase in commission work and the importance of personal relationships.
