I wish you had buttons that say "Groovy!" and "Dude!" so we had a way to register our appreciation or share in your woe without posting. Groovy pics!

I'm thinking... how else is Westley going to serve on the Enterprise? You want your underage character on the bridge. How are you possibly going to get him there? There is NO possible way. The un-annoying Westley grows up peacefully, goes to Starfleet Academy for 4-12 years, serves as bottom rung science officer on the USS Hunk of Shit for 15 years, and then is transferred to the Enterprise after LeForge retires? Picard is a "no bullshit" officer and that is why we respect him so much. But he also knows when to give into the bullshit, because he is also brilliant. He has formed the opinion the Westley is a stupid kid. Westley is not a stupid kid and refuses to live his life on the USS Hunk of Shit. He has to prove himself to Picard. He has to take chances. He is also an immature twerp. I can say from personal experience that intelligence and twerpiness tend to go hand in hand. So what would you have done? How would you have written it? Maybe the writers went a little overboard, but I'm not coming up with another way to write it. Can you?

I must say I teared up a little when I read that. I know nothing about Watchmen, but you must know how I felt when I read that Jake Lloyd was, at one point, going to play Ender. I do my best not to care. This makes the geek inside me, that has almost all but died, hopeful (it revived a little when I saw Iron Man, too). I'm happy for you Watchmen fans and I'm looking forward to seeing it. Thankfully I had the sense not to see that Indiana Jones movie.

Weird, I was just watching that panel on YouTube yesterday. The you, Aaron, Yuri one where I already heard this story. Which reminds me, I haven't been able to find the Star Trek panel in it's entirety. The one on YouTube that I found is missing several parts due to battery failure. Does anyone know a place to go to find them?

I think it's a good idea. Way back whenever, I remember sending your "tastes like burning" story to people to try to get them to understand why I read your blog. Thank you for the IPA discussion. I bought one once and it was so horrible I had to not dump it down the sink just so I could share the experience with others (OMG!). It is good to know that it wasn't just that one bottle, but the entire genre, that I need to avoid.

So, since I loved Wesley, does that mean there's something wrong with me? I was 12 or so, so I imagine I can be forgiven for my girlish foolishness. Seriously though, I wish you'd write more about being on the set. I love the stories of Levar sleeping behind his visor or Brent making you laugh right before the start of the scene and getting you in trouble. I wish you felt better about it all. I understand though that you're a guy who cares and people are cruel and it's hard to not take it inside.

I've told you this a few times here over the years and you keep not listening to me. The reason some guys don't like you (and this is over-simplifying a bit) is because the girls do and they're jealous. Then the weak girls jump on the band wagon. I wish you'd understand this. It's the same reason my brother hung my cabbage patch doll.

I pretty much stopped playing guitar and bass in favor of vocals and drums as soon as we got Rock Band. Green Grass and High Tides was almost the end of me on just medium on the drums. It's a shame really. In order to enjoy playing the song I have to quit at 56%, I believe? I wish they had a short version that unlocks after you beat it or something. Great story, btw.

I wasn't warned that it was going to bleed and feel like my brains were being pulled out. I was still a young thing. I'm sure it's not as bad as I remember. I was like 16, I think. It really bled a lot. Before that I wasn't able to breathe through my nose at all. It's not all better, but at least I can close my mouth now without feeling like I'm suffocating. Good luck!

Tom Baker was so much my favorite that I'm not sure I like him anymore. I guess I OD'd. I really had a thing for Peter Davidson and Adric... gag. A major pre-teen girl thing. I'm so ashamed. I really loved Sylvester McCoy's character and outfit even though Ace and the few episodes they aired here sucked. I loved Eccleston and was very sad to see him go so soon. I would NEVER have recognized him on Heroes if I hadn't looked him up on IMDB. The Girl In The Fireplace was brilliant! I'm now excited to resume watching because I haven't seen Blink, which everyone's raving about. Last one I saw was the one where everyone had phones in their heads. I think I'll watch the next one right now. Thanks for bringing this up, Wil!
