Nicole, you mean you literally had a Wonder Woman costume on? If so, I'd sure love to have a picture of that for my blog! :-) I'm not a runner, but if you think you're ready to start running again, by all means go for it! I'm so glad you stopped by and I found your blog today.

Photo Credit For years, every time I went to the dentist, the hygienist would be on my case about not flossing. I honestly don't understand why I was once a flossing failure, but I do know why I'm now a flossing fanatic. I changed my habits using a simple approach that can work for you, too, ...
I know you'd love it Shannon. I would love to meet you in person sometime.

5 Reasons to Attend a Blogging Conference
My dear friend and blogging buddy, Deb, invited me to attend Bloggy Boot Camp in St. Louis this past weekend. I wanted to go just to spend time with her, but I honestly wasn't so sure I wanted to attend a blogging conference. I wasn't even sure I wanted to keep blogging. When You're a Bloggin...
Thanks, Sadie. That's hilarious! No one will think you're a nobody then. Hope you enjoyed the conference, too.

Very true. It works both ways! We do have to pay attention to patterns of behavior and make sure they are God pleasing. Thank you for your thoughts!

Hide it Under a Bushel, No!

Shannon, I see a lot of light shining when I read your blog. I'm blessed by it and I pray that you will keep letting it shine. I believe that those of us who are teachers have more struggles than most. I try to remember that when I'm having a hard time, it means I'm on the right path.

You certainly do have gifts, Amy, and you share them beautifully on Fullher Life. So glad the Lord introduced us!

To me, it's a relief. Because my gifts aren't created by me or just for me, I can relax and let God do with them what He does best. I'm so glad you haven't hid your light under a bushel.

Loren, it's so true. I think I sometimes forget that man's approval doesn't even compare to God's love.
Contentment 101: Comparisons
I thought I was done with my series on contentment that begins here, but the Lord had more to say to me about it. I just returned from a homeschool speech and debate tournament with my oldest son. How strange it is to watch your child agonize over others' evaluations of him as you once did. I...
Amy, He is definitely good to us! Have a blessed Easter! I may be absent from commenting for the next couple of weeks, but you won't be absent from my thoughts!

Barb, don't worry too much about the rules when you're just getting started. I know some very successful bloggers who don't adhere to all of these standards. Write what you feel called to write and see what god does with it. Thanks for commenting!

Loren, thanks for your feedback. I don't feel that the blogging gurus are necessarily advising bloggers like me. I don't want blogging to become my life. I've read some scary admissions from bloggers lately who've essentially abandoned their families in favor of the praise of readers. I'd like to grow readership without losing my way.
