Wow, I'm so impressed, that's really awesome! I must admit that I wish I had of tried socks earlier, they're much easier than I thought they'd be.

Thanks so much! I'm surprised just how much I enjoy sock knitting, I always thought it would be far too tricky.

Thanks Leonie. I can't remember from your instagram pics whether you've tried toe up socks or not, but if you haven't, you must! I find them much easier than doing top down, as you don't have to pick up any stitches after you knit the heel flap - it's just (kind of) like knitting a tube.

Thanks Suzan and if you do try the toe up socks, I'd love to know what you think.

Ali, after wearing the cardigan to death since I made it, I'm really disappointed with the Cascade Aran - it's pilling like crazy!!! I've had to de-pill it after EVERY wear :( I've just bought a new lot of yarn to make a second Ramona cardigan and I'm keeping everything crossed that it doesn't do the same thing. However, I've used the Cascade 220 10 ply for a few projects now and that seems to wear well, but the aran is driving me mad. xx

Thanks Aurora and if you happen to be a knitter, there is a fabulous knitting group that meets every Wednesday at Fullers Bookshop in town (in the cafe) from 5-7pm. I go most weeks & it's free - there are a good mix of knitters that go, from beginners through to advanced, plus a few crocheters and a varied age group too.
