Hi Audrey, I've used baking paper for this project - but yes, wax paper would work just as well and look lovely. x

Hi Zena, You can find out more about the swap here: http://www.onecraftymumma.com/2014/08/creative-people-pen-pal-swap-sign-up.html But, basically I'm pairing up creative types to have a nice long term writing friendship with each other. Mel xx

Very good advice Suzan. Sometimes I procrastinate far too long with letters when really, I should just do it! xx

Oh wow, thank you so much for sharing this with me - what a small, small world!! I did infact work for a food store, but left a good year or so ago. It was in Lindisfarne, if your friend lives near there :) Mel x

I'm so happy to hear that you've already written your pen pal letter and sent it off. I'm a bit behind in my writing at the moment, but I plan on catching up this week. Fingers crossed I can xx

Oh no, I didn't and now I'm sad that I missed it. I'll have to do a little bit of a search online and see if I can come across it - it sounds very sweet! :) Mel x

That's such a clever idea to crochet the label - much more sturdy than a paper one. Thank you for the stationery source topic idea. Hmm, I'm not sure I could make up to ten with ones that I've bought from, but I'll give it some thought. Thanks Hannah. x

Oooh, I remember seeing these before and absolutely LOVE them. I'd since forgotten about them though and you know what, I think I love them more than the crocheted ones :)

Free patterns are the best! I have lots saved - actually I have so many saved that it's going to be pretty impossible for me to get through them all.

Hi Toni, We've had the loom for quite a few years now (probably 6 or 8) and the original packaging is gone, but it was purchased from a local art supply store and was under $20. I had a little look online for you and this one looks very similar to ours: http://www.mywoodentoys.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=256 - Our actual loom part is 18cm X 27.5cm, but then there is a wooden frame around this too. Hi Renee, Oh sorry, I didn't explain that very well! It would be a penpal swap, for creative people - so I'd match you up with a partner/penpal to permanently exchange letters with. Of course, you can exchange a package every now and then too, if you wanted to do that - but primarily it's to have somebody else nice to write to via the post. Mel x
