Was this giant D20 (of Dooooom!) the infamous Dragon Heart of Slaying Fame?

Johnny Dangerously is self edited. Fargging Iceholes. I taped (yes, VHS) Blazing Saddles to watch later. I kept it. It was hi-larious how they made it safe for tee-vee! Think about Blazing Saddles for a moment. Yeah. Ok, they used sound FX in place of every *bleep*. Horse whinny was a fave. Campfire scene? There, too. I have the DVD, but I keep that VHS. Kids...if you haven't seen it? Lawn. Off. Now.

The Red Robot shirt and Electric Sheep are from @rstevens Diesel Sweeties webcomic site: http://store.dieselsweeties.com/collections/t-shirts So, I figure they were Wil's own shirts.

Wonderful sentiment! Should be printed on all Park guides/brochures/etc, too! We will rule over all this land, and we will call it..."This Land."

Thanks, Wil! I certainly wasn't offended by the Lulu gesture. on another note.. The reason Veteran's Day doesn't get moved to a Monday: http://buzz.yahoo.com/buzzlog/93165?fp=1 It stays on 11/11. (people were tweeting that it was weird having a holiday midweek.) -Barb @Merbrat (USAF 12yrs)

Happy Birthday @AliciaWag! Mr & Mrs @angiek42 and I are seeing it Friday! (properly at the Alamo Drafthouse, of course!) I started *really* getting excited when I saw the bit where Kirk and McCoy meet. Karl Urban was spot-on, in full Bones Rant Mode! (and Simon Pegg as Scotty was IMHO lovely casting!) Tweet ya later! Wil... I am anticipating *major* shenanigans on FARK with this latest pic. -Merbrat

Hee! The only time he looks you in the eyes, is when you speak to him! I think it's sweater-lust. The eyebrows are wonderful!

RIP 4E! I met him when he did a con in Austin, many moons ago. First, in the lobby of his hotel, and later at the con. He was really sweet and patient with some especially worshipful FX fanboys. A couple of them had made miniature re-creations of some scary thing or other. He fussed-over and discussed the details with the proud artists. Nice guy.

I had a "well-endowed" friend who got one of those Hyper-Color shirts. Wore it once. Body heat caused to color to spot-change on the front. Two spots. I don't know which color was hyper-er...the shirt or her cheeks!

Zounds! Ok, ST action figures, et al, not withstanding... You've got the "custom-modded" figures (hi, angiek!) "The Velvet Wesley" (hi, Scalzi!) Now, 8-bit coolness! (hi, rstevens!) How can Wil be Pop-Culturally immortalized, next? That is really spiffy, Wil!

*That* is several levels of win! John Scalzi is an awesomely nice and funny guy! He was GoH at Armadillo Con in Austin, this weekend. He gave angiek the copy of his reading. (Ch 1 of "The High Castle") http://tinyurl.com/5lxa99 (another shot of him being silly) http://tinyurl.com/5vvkeh

I was *just* reading this at BoingBoing. That is really heartbreaking, having to go thru it each time. Maybe someone with Space Adventures, Ltd might see this and take him (and astronaut Gordon Cooper) up. Richard Garriott (Origin Games) (a paid living passenger) is going in the fall. The remains are usually in a lipstick-sized tube.
