Take a look at this and imagine if the roles were reversed... would it be as acceptable? Funny? You may think I am a bit sensitive and a closet lover of the McRib Sandwich (btw... I do really like that... Continue reading

remember art is simply a matter of expression of how you see the world and the viewer's opportunity to engage in the conversation no matter how agreeable. truly there is no right answer only yours.
Coming Apart was Never this Cool
It's Wednesday and that usually meant a post about something Artsy... So, here is a recent video I stumbled upon created by Eric Epstein for the artist Memory Tapes (AKA Davye Hawk). The post production is absolutely amazing and the song beautifully done... My question is, where (key word there)...

Las Vegas in September... it's usually hot. Our summer here in the San Francisco Bay Area... very mild this year. So, we decided to arrive in Vegas a few days early to acclimate to the heat, somewhat, and try to get a few days breather before the big event. I wish I could say there was success...
Hey Jon, sorry for not getting to this sooner but I very much appreciate your support in TC and the encouragement you've given along the way. I'm just waiting for you to get your bike!

Thanks Pat... please tell Chase "Hey" for me. And I understand the appeal of football and soccer now. You only get one little piece of time in life for those sports typically but triathlon can be done into old age.
Yes, getcher backside up here and let's hang out!
Likewise.

First Race of the Year - Wildflower: What Was I Thinking?
Well, it's time to take a few moments and get into the triathlon mode. Seems like most of my DoxA visits lately or not, have been to document my racing. So, Yesterday "officially" sent the season into motion. Of course you can't do this without the perennial training one needs to actually race...
Thanks Ellie... I'll try to keep some updates coming.
I Left My Sweat In San Francisco Part 2
Here is a report from San Francisco's other Escape from Alcatraz... San Francisco Triathlon at Alcatraz As everyone knows… Alcatraz was that one prison deemed impossible to escape! But really? There was that one, now infamous escape sending three inmates into the dark San Francisco Bay water...
Thanks Victoria... we'll see. I don't feel so ready.

Terri, yes... this makes the point exactly and I really appreciate you making it. And here the point can even be more telling when others realize you're from Canada and the social network has no geographic boarders!
I hope all is well with you in the great white north!
Social Media: Why Bother?
During this month, I will again be using the devices of social media to send out messages, hoping to create dialogue and for no other reason to share a bit of what's been on my mind. These devices are pretty simple. Twitter, Facebook and of course this blog. I've neglected just about all three l...

I think you make a couple great points and agree we have pulled the "plank card" far too often when it comes to accounting for behavior. BUT it is our job as believers to judge believers not outsiders (1 Cor. 5) but do so in light of our own behavior (Rom.2). That is why I believe it is easy to understand the balance between truth and grace... the truth is, we're all deserving of God's wrath but thankfully we receive His grace, when we confess our badselves to Him.

There are moments in the course of human history which speak to a larger collective which, goes far beyond fads and trends... Flashmobs are a fad, iPads are a trend (one thing leads to another... Samsung, HTC, Motorola now have tablets). But those moments... those defining moments maybe forgot...
