My lovely friend, and former neighbor Lisa approached me recently with an absolutely delightful custom project. She is hosting a bridal shower for her friend who is a total Francophile! So the theme is all things French--the tablescape will be... Continue reading

Despite my hearty attempts to hold it back each year, the holidays are already sneaking up on us. And from a retail perspective, I might even be a little behind. *Grumble, grumble, grumble*. I'll spare you my Grinchy monologue--no need... Continue reading

Ha! I love it! Registering at Home Depot and Lowe's seems to be a new trend--when you're renovating a new home a table saw might be a lot more useful than crystal champagne flutes!

What a great idea for a regular feature! I agree with Curley Creations--every little bit helps! No effort is too small! Sometimes it's easy to feel guilty that we're not doing enough, but as you said--though it may not be 100% perfect, the attempt is worthy! Glad to see so many independent designers getting on board. Sarah's work is beautiful--love love love those peacock napkins! To pretty to wipe up with!

Stoppppp it! This is the CUTEST! I'm going to get a head start now for the Christmas season and all the gift-giving we'll be doing! Oh, and good advice on the not swinging it like a lasso bit--I was going to try that, but since you mentioned it, I'll restrain myself!

Shoot, these are cute, if I do say so myself! A little pencil sketch has been turned into a digital illustration that's laser-printed onto 100% recycled notecards and embellished with just a touch of sparkle. These might be my new... Continue reading

After our recent visit to Kykuit Estate I was reminiscing about our visit to Newport a few years back, when we toured some of the famous mansions, including The Breakers. Wouldn't that be an incredible place to have a wedding?... Continue reading
