Peter, Taylor is a fringe prospect with a college background and a fine career K/BB ratio. He was worth a shot and he did fine at Wrigley. Next time there's such an opening, I fully expect we'll see Sean West, but like most other teams out there the Marlins weren't interested in starting his arbitration clock just yet. Plus, as a high school product, he's still gaining maturity. But he's definitely top of the list at this point, and once he gets here he could stay in the rotation for good. Then again, I said that about Ryan Tucker, too, didn't I?
