This is awesome. I am wondering why you didn't announce this at Friday's w00tstock.

Can you believe I took this picture with my phone? I'm continually amazed at the vast number of things our phones can do. I amuse myself by imagining trying to describe to my late parents or grandparents what I meant by "let me Google that on my Droid" or "I'm playing solitaire on my phone". The looks of utter incomprehension they would have given me just cracks me up.

Wow that's a nice floor. I look forward to reading stories and tweets about your dogs running around losing traction now that the carpet is gone.

Waitaminute... you use a famous quote from Lord Buckley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Buckley) at the beginning of every RFB, but you don't know who he is? I'm shocked. Also, go see http://www.lordbuckley.com

"Hi, I'm Wil Wheaton. I know! I can't believe it either!" Believe what? That you're Wil Wheaton, or that the dog blows up the Earth?

So you feel that your standard level of output should be "avalanche"? That's a nice way to work towards a heart attack. Relax. Some days you're an avalanche, some days you're a trickle. It all averages out to awesome in the end.

If that's really a statue of a muse, then the cobweb represents the utter lack of originality in the movies of the last few years. The Muse is unused. Or maybe I'm reading too much into the very nice photo.

Don't worry about "passing yourself off as some kind of authority"... somebody somewhere is going to benefit from your experience (whatever level it's at), and will probably be more able to relate because you're closer to the same level of experience they are, rather than some great Authority Dispensing Wisdom From On High. Plus, one of the best ways to learn about something is to teach it! So keep on giving out these tips as you learn them. Everyone will benefit. And if anyone asks you why you think you're such a know-it-all, just ask them how many books they've published. I'm betting it's 3 less than you!
