I am so glad no one got picked until the 3rd round. All these lazy wannabes have drageed Miami down. They didn't watch enough film, lift enough weights, or run enough. We used to win the game in the 4th quarter, because we were smarter and we worked harder. You don't get the key interception by talent alone.

The reasons for the failures of the season are many, but I do agree with Coach Golden we need to get stronger. The O Line was supposed to be a strength of this team and they got dominated in almost every game this season. I saw glimpses of good play on defense (scheme) but hopefully we recruit mainly on defense because of the lack of talent in the backfield.

I am sad to see most of the Northwest boys go, but unfourtunately they never live up to the hype. Jacory played well, for him, this season. The BC games was a microcasm of his career here. One interception wasn't his fault but the rest were. If today wasn't his last game of his career he should have been pulled early in the fourth quarter. Yes he didn't throw many interceptions earlier this year, but a lot of those passes should have been picks. I don't know if he couldn't read defenses or he thought his arm was on the caliber of Craig Erickson, but as Steve Walsh and Ken Dorsey taught us in the past while winning championships, use the talent around you and don't cost you team the game. Also why all the hype for Sean Spence? I see two bad plays for every good play he makes. I see him run himself out of his lane, or leave the man he is covering. As was the long pass to the BC tight end for a touchdown with Spence trailing on the play. I believed in the signing day hype, thought the championship days where on there way, but four years later and a 29-22 record, and losing all three lower tier bowl game they played in. At least they were 17-15 in the ACC (sarcasm). I can't wait for the new era to begin. I want to be proud of my Hurricanes. I like the fact we have stayed off the police blotter but I also want to win football games. So goodbye to the quitters from the #1 recruiting class in the nation and hello to a new era. So Thank You Arthur Brown and the like for contributing to the Dark Ages of Hurricane football.
