HoustonCane, Was it really Epperly that made the facemask call?

So basically Epperly can still make things happen in the ACC Race. If VT needs Miami to lose to an opponent he could call certain penalties to affect the games outcome. This is concerning.

I would like to see BSU and TCU play in the ACC. I would bet atleast 2 losses by both teams. If VT played BSU again I think they win. I believe the ACC has more talent than the WAC and MWC.

Our D only gave up 13 points yesterday, I thought they played great. Also, got screwed on the fumble recovery for TD in 4th quarter didnt help. The only bad games they played was FSU and Virginia.

CGNC, Are you going to the GT game this year?
Toggle Commented Nov 7, 2010 on Game Day Blog: The Pattern at Canespace
Ok, I've just looked at Scout.com and it has Teddy Bridgewater listed as 6-3 and 195. Is that realistic? Anyone actually seen him play and is that legit?

Hey everyone, its been a long while since I last posted. I just want to say I love the way Stephen Morris managed the game and moved in the pocket. He made good quick decisions to run or stay in the pocket. He made a couple freshmen mistakes, but he led his recievers on all passes for YAC. I have a question, does anyone know who we are recruiting as a QB for the 2011 class. I know Teddy Bridgewater, but I really do not want to recruit another tiny qb like Jacory! I think Bridgewater goes 6 ft 175lbs, a bean pole. I want someone taller with more size to take hits. I'm tired of the short small qb's we have been recruiting. I'll be at the GT game this weekend sitting in Sec212 Row23 Seat 12 with some family. Hope to see some of you there.

Jacory would still be playing!
now the other qb is injured! Not Texas's day.
Solar, Definitely McCoy they said could be a first round pick based on what he does tonight? Since he basically has had a Chris Simms type career!
It's funny how the announcers just stated that DJ Monroe was just reinstated!
Is Whipple's son not that good, or could he be a backup? He seems to have the size and stature of a Ben Rothlesberger/Chad Henne type quarterback.

Thanks Canechic! He's done many more, like Cooper, Davon Johnson, Jacory, Fox, etc. He's definitely got talent! He actually does the drawings and sends them to the Miami players in exchange for Miami gear!

Thanks DATcane! J.W. totally agree! But, I wonder if Coach Pluzzy even practices blocking kicks.

Ok I got to get my facts straight, it was a long time ago. The score was 10-7 Miami not 7-6 as I thought. Tremain Mack blocked the kick and I thought Duane Starks returned it for the TD, but it was #2 not #23. Does anyone know who #2 was?

I just wish we could block kicks like we used too. We were doing it before Beamer Ball! Then its like we quit and would rather return it.

Here is the Tremain Mack block of West Virginia, I think it was Duane Starks that took it in for the TD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR29VsfkQz4

Randy is a class-act and has made the Miami program almost complete a 180 degree turnaround with the increased graduation rates and no non-sense rules regarding criminal behavior. It is almost complete with a National Championship hopefully in the not to distant future. The one thing that still makes me mad, is that people across the nation still think we are a bunch of thugs, when teams like Floriduh, Tennessee, and USC are the ones getting in trouble everyday. If only the media would give Randy some credit for the off-field things he brings to the table. The media doesn't do Miami justice for the major change that has happened under Randy's watch. I'd play for him any day, he has created a military core beliefs to mold these young men into respectable grown adults. Go RANDY and Go CANES!

One of my favorite plays of all time was when I went to the WV-Miami game in 1997 when down 6 with like less than a minute to go, Duane Starks blocked a punt and we took it to the house for a 7-6 victory over WV. It was a cold and miserable day and I stayed till the end and we won. That was the same game that ended Danyell Ferguson career basically. Also, Randy Shannon was knocked out by a fan thrown trash can going into the tunnel. WV fans are too crazy! Just one of the memorable moments of my young childhood.
