Love Dolphins, this regime loves draft picks. Thats why they dished out millions of dollars just to have the right to deal Chad Pennington if they feel like it. They will bring a guy in to drum up interest and disguise what they are doing. I would look more at what Miami isn't doing than what they are doing... Right now they are banging pots and pans over here and saying look at who is coming to visit... And wont dare look at some other guys just to keep their cards close to the vest... Parcells loves the draft and is good at the poker part of the entire process.

Bobby, I believe every player they bring in has a possibility to be a Dolphin but not at 12. So if they stay at 12, there is no way I think they take Earl Thomas. But bringing him in makes that a smokescreen. But if they trade down to the bottom to the end of the round, I think Thomas becomes more of a reality. Meaning the homework done was useful.

The dolphins due their due diligence on every player for their records. These same rookies will be FA in four years or maybe available via trade... They want to have as much information on file as possible. Any and every player that may be available at 12 will visit so that they are prepared and so that other teams will have interest. Players that they really like may never even make a visit. Just so teams will not try and jump in front of them to take them.

Also, most of the guys coming in for a visit are Juniors. Players that they didn't see at the Senior Bowl and players with some issue whether it be off the field or medical...
