I can't help but think about what the other hotel guests must have thought when they heard you recording this..
Radio Free Burrito: Episode Twenty-Nine
Holy Crap, it's time for a new episode of Radio Free Burrito! This episode was made possible by the generous contributions of listeners like you, as well as a grant from the We Didn't Really Give You A Grant, Wil, Foundation. Show Notes: This show doesn't have the best audio in the world, becau...
Wil, I just love these podcasts!! I recently started re-watching The Next Generation and just finished season 1. While listening to your podcast this morning I realized that I somehow had missed The Naked Now! After listening to Memories of the Futurecast I decided to watch the episode right away. That was so funny! Thank you!!
Memories of the Futurecast: Episode Three
Hey look! It's Monday, and that means it's time for a new Memories of the Futurecast. Memories of the Future, Volume One, covers the first 13 episodes of TNG, so each week, I'm choosing something from one episode, and performing an excerpt for you. It will mostly be from the synopses, which i...
Wil, each of your posts about Ferris' death has made me cry. I don't even know you, but you let me and all your other readers into your heart so deeply we can all feel your pain. And it hurts. I hope in this way we can share the tears with you as well and that our comments give you some comfort.
Hang in there and talk to us whenever you need to. We'll be here.
in which some comfort is found
I saw Ferris' empty dish last night when I fed Riley, and it unleashed an agonizing wave of sadness so overwhelming, I dropped to the floor in our living room and cried as hard and as long as I ever have in my life. After she was finished eating, Riley came over to me and sniffed at my face. Th...
I'm so very sorry to hear this sad news! Animals can be such wonderful family-members as I'm sure Ferris has been for you, and you for her. It always hurts to lose someone so close to your heart. Love to you and your family.
through the fish-eyed lens of tear stained eyes
My dog Ferris, who was rescued from a bus stop in Monrovia by my wife Anne almost exactly 8 years ago, had a heart attack and died this morning. It happened very quickly, and I was with her, which is supposed to make me feel better, but at this moment all I can feel is nearly-unbearable sorrow, ...
Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag, Nolan!
happy birthday, nolan!
Nolan is 16 today. Our plans include goofing off at the beach, followed by an awesome dinner with a few friends, and lots of Guitar Hero later tonight. It's his first birthday without his big brother around, which is probably harder on me than it is on him, but I think we're all going to have a...

Being so close to the sun, the comet is now so bright that it can be seen in broad daylight! For photos and viewing tips: http://www.spaceweather.com
Still haven't seen it for myself though.
Bloody weather.
stupid weather
I've been real excited about Comet McNaught since I first read about it a few weeks ago, and I knew that time to see it was running out, so Anne and I planned to take our binoculars and drive up one of our local mountains tonight to get a look at it. The skies were clear all day, save a few puff...
