Since I'm being a good boy and waiting for the show to be posted on the TNT website, it will be a week before I can see it, but I'm looking forward to it, Wil.

Ohhhhhh Leverage is so AWESOME! Aside from Parker (who is Catwoman all by herself), the team is like Batman was split into four people.

Raiders of the Lost Ark seems like it would have been impossible to beat without the manual. I can't imagine I would *ever* have thought of the things the book said to do. I never beat either of the Swordquest games I had. I didn't have the manual for Earthworld and didn't have the clue-containing comic book for Fireworld. I don't know if they even made the other two they were supposed to do.

Well, a screen name isn't exactly an ID card.

TypePadI was kinda thinking that was his reason. I just thought it kind of a funny concept.

I'd rather pick four pinball machines: 1. The Machine: Bride of Pinbot 2. Earthshaker 3. Taxi 4. Star Wars And I'll take one coin-op video game: Galaga '88

I remember one of the Raiden games had that purple homing laser weapon. R-Type was a side-view shooter.

I think I might remember McBain. It's been quite a long time since I watched The Simpsons.

I have no idea what the McBain scale is.

If anyone's interested, I think I found the post Wil is talking about at a different site. http://www.gabbr.com/blogs/2009/1/21126/It%E2%80%99s-confirmed:-Ted-Kord-is-a-redshirt/

That's pretty awesome, Wil. I think I'll *have* to watch this one, even though I wasn't too impressed with the first two eps of this show. :-/

The music video of Thriller is the greatest music video ever. I though that was a commonly-known fact to everyone except MTV.

I'm a Doctor Who fan in a Star Trek country. I don't even have other Who fans to fight with over which Doctor is better. But do people really take offense when someone else enjoys a different comic book than the first person's favorite? That's really odd.

I never knew that was an Eddie Murphy song. I was fairly sheltered during the 80's. This may be the first time I've ever heard the whole song, really.

The only episode of LotL that scared me as a kid was the one where Holly walks into an unusual pylon and there was some weird lighting effect and then she was walking around with that wand like some sort of non-cannibalistic living zombie. It was that weird light that scared me, really. I don't remember it well enough to recall what was scary about it, though.

I was a Who fan in the eighties, and I was the only one around here as far as I knew. (Well, there was one other, but he moved to Orlando.) I used to catch a lot of hell from all the Trekkies on the BBS's for defending Dr. Who. The only fan term I've ever heard is "Whovian," but I'm not married to it or anything. Genesis of the Daleks was one of the high points of the Baker years, but in my opinion, there were a bunch of high points. Tom Baker was my first Doctor. I never got into an argument about which Doctor was the best. I was defending myself against rabid Trekkies.

I'm not over Heroes yet. This season has spent a lot of time on characters I don't know, but it took me some time in the first season before I liked all of *those* characters. I'm willing to wait to see how these new plots are going to work out before I give up on it.

That sounds great, Wil! So is this going to be a recurring douchebag or just a one-time thing? Man, I would freak the fuck out meeting Rob Morrow. Northern Exposure was such a great show (until he left the show), and so is Numb3rs!

I'd like to think that your saying "Don't be a dick" at a gamer con will have some effect, but it's not like a guy doesn't know he shouldn't be a dick. But anyway, I enjoyed hearing the speech. Unfortunately, I never once saw Wizard of Wor at any arcade.
