Beautiful sentiments, thank you. My father did the same, but with a bit more subtlety.Always sat in the aisle seat in the 2nd to last row in the movie theater so he could get out quick. Always looking for escape routes. And now I do, too. Always have a plan and be prepared. Now I know that I am grateful for it - even though he's been gone for 20 years, he may have trained me to save my life one day. For me, it's just second nature and it doesn't overwhelm my life. And I still look for all the good things that happen in terrible tragedies.
