The Mahabharata is a complex story with many subplots. I've read it through some five or six times now; I still don't have all the nuances, and I have yet to get keep all the family members straight. :o) I'm especially keen on how the questions of karma and divine justice at the end of the epic are handled in this film. It's on my Amazon list, in case I don't find it elsewhere sooner.
