Yeah I know what you mean. I think there's an underreported community of at-home parent geeks who use these tools to stay connected. I've also thought that there are similarities between us and the disabled community insofar as the power of these technologies to bridge the divide. More and more I'm longing for real world networking events to offer a remote viewing option for those of us who can't get out as much.
