The funny thing about this is, apparently ad blockers will block the "G+ Like" button completely - I know mine seems to have done that. There's nothing but an empty space where you show that button to be, for me. I was wondering why Google had decided not to let me like or dislike videos anymore, and now I know - it's because they're doing something stupid! Thanks for the explanation!
