I'm so sad and mad to hear this news. I'm sorry but thankful to all of the cast and crew for such a terrific show. Doesn't SyFy(*patooie* *patooie*) know most of it's viewiership watch it for its shows. NOT for wrestling (which I still can't figure why that's even ON that network). #syfysucks #damnthenetworksaveeureka.
Saying goodbye to Eureka
Last year, my friend Amy told me she was moving from writing Leverage to writing Eureka. She asked me if I was interested in playing a scientist who was kind of a jerk. I said "yes" as fast as I could, and ended up playing Doctor Isaac Parrish for seven of the ten episodes in season 4.5. When se...
I really think "I AM A FOOD WIZARD! COWER BEFORE MY SILICON SPATULA OF SCRAPING! MUWAHAHAHA!!" should in some form or another be put on an apron. Good job again on 'Eureka' tonight!
on birthdays and making beer
Anne and I took the train up to Santa Barbara for my birthday, and it was awesome. Because I've complained about Amtrak employees who were dicks in the past (K. Williams on the southbound Surfliner to Comicon, I'm looking in your snotty, sarcastic, condescending direction), it's important to me ...
I really enjoyed last night's episode. I especially liked the scene of Parrish, Fargo and Holly in Fargo's office. The way you had Parrish react when Fargo denied him anymore time to speak on his project was great. Looking forward to next week's episode!
EUREKA: Glimpse
Last night's Eureka, Glimpse, was my first episode as a non-enraged-by-the-enraginator-device Doctor Parrish. I had completely forgotten about Fargo's commercial for the Astraeus project at the top of the show; when I saw that, the excitement of shooting the entire season came flooding back to m...
Every time I watch 'Stand By Me' I'm always afraid you guys won't cross the bridge in time and the train will eventually hit you. That and the leeches scene...oh the leeches:(
Run Vern! RUN! GODDAMMIT RUN!
(created by Storm, for the Stand By Meme portion of Wil Wheaton vs. Paul and Storm)
Tis the season to get your Smurf love on.
merry smurfin' smurfmas, mothersmurfers
This is crying out for a caption. I'll choose my favorite, and send something neat* to whoever writes it. Submissions open throughout the weekend, one per person, and can only be left as comments here (it's too difficult to track on Twitter or via e-mail). *definition of 'neat' will be at my s...
I'm not even attending Wootstock and I was scared that it wasn't a joke (even though it was hilarious), so thanks for the clarification :) I'm now addicted to Eureka thanks to you and was able to watch season four from the beginning thanks to on demand. Can't wait to see Parrish again!
In which I am a HPOA
I'm working very long hours on Eureka, so I don't have a lot of time or energy to post more than silly things on Twitter, but I did this over the weekend, and I wanted to share: The w00tstock organization wishes to post the following photo correspondence from “Wil”—which is most certainly not a ...
Hank is going to be at Wootstock? Ah, this is what I get for not keeping up on my vlogbrothers videos *facepalm* I wish I lived on the west coast to see this, all my favorite nerds togehter in the same area. Please find a way to bootleg your recordings because then at least I'll get to catch some of the awesome!
*Also I got my copy "Happiest Days of Our Lives" awhile back and I loved it. Can't wait to read more.
w00tstock 2.x is this weekend
Okay, how awesome is that poster? Rich Stevens designed it for us. A T-shirt version will be available at all the 2.x shows, until we sell out of them. So it turns out that w00tstock 2.x kicks off tomorrow with 2.0 in Seattle, and 2.1 on Saturday in Portland. I've been so busy with so many...
First, I have to admit before listening to this episode of RFB I had never listened to a podcast before. I really enjoyed this one and looking forward to going through the archives! I love all the little details you put into it (the airline ad especially gave me a chuckle.) Thanks!
echoes beyond the infinite
I found this video while putting together the show notes for today's Radio Free Burrito (wherein I perform yesterday's story for you, with music and puppets*) as I said on Twitter, it's not the same as syncing it up with a record and the laserdisc, but it's still pretty awesome if you have about...
