Does Lego Wesley come with every 1980s era costume he was ever in? Or perhaps at least we could get an Acting Ensign Wesley Crusher (Red Tunic) and Cadet Wesley Crusher? I want the full collection of Lego Wesley Crushers...
Introducing Lego Wesley Crusher
This was given to me as a gift at the Phoenix Comicon. Isn't it cool? Sometimes, I sit here and look at it, and I'm tempted to call up my friends and say, "Hey, I was just wondering if you have a customized Lego figure of your Star Trek character on your desk." Then I realize how pathetic th...

Oh, the cat really didn't seem to care either way, I'm just exercising my rights as their ownee to put words in their mouth. But I'm sure he would like to meet your cat still..
Radio Free Burrito Episode 11
Holy crap! Look out the window for restless horsemen . . . it's a new episode of Radio Free Burrito, less than a week after the last one! Show Notes I think we should just go ahead and give this podcast the [Explicit] label, if it doesn't have it already. Consider yourself warned. The logo ...

oh, and another RFB to add to my hermetic seal folder... ;-)
Radio Free Burrito Episode X
Holy crap! It's a new episode of Radio Free Burrito! This is another music episode, focusing on three styles I really like: Rockabilly, Psychobilly, and Surf. I found a ton of great artists on the podsafe music network, and I hope you enjoy the musical stylings they provide. Show notes: The l...

Wil, Despite the whole married thing, I still think you're a bachelor.. Corn oil to fry vegetables in?
I learned my lesson with this once by roasting potatoes in corn oil. Oy vey! that was disgusting..
we're cookin' now
Saturday night, Anne and I wanted to have some sort of date. I've been getting tired really quickly this week (doctor said to expect that) and I've had terrible headaches, so instead of going out, we stayed home and made dinner together. I love cooking together. I love working together in the ki...

Wil,
What about hacking PayPal via the price? E.g. charge different prices so each item's price identifies which one someone bought.
So say price things this way
Paperback (US): 19.99
Paperback (Canada): 19.98
Hardcover (US): 29.99
Hardcover (Canada): 29.98
So its obvious if someone buys one of them, you just have to sort and print by price. buying two different items gets a bit trickier. You'd have to have some problem solving, or a premade chart that translates it into the actual number.
The key here is using the last two digits as your "product key" I'm sure there is some point where the quanties could intersect and you could have ambiguity, but it should be rare enough that it could be resolved via a quick email.
I haven't worked out all the permutations, but if you'd like I can put a little bit of time into it...
good news, great news, bad news
The good news is the hard covers were just dropped off. The great news is that they look beautiful, feel great, and are exactly the way I wanted them to be. The bad news is that I can't sell them, because PayPal still hasn't been able to hep me solve the item number problem when I try to ship mu...

Wil,
Thank you for bringing part of your family to us.
A beautiful memorial.
A wonderful recognition of the sad and joyful times of our lives.
Thank you.

I keep rooting for manchester united to win the superbowl.. Somehow that never happens... On the flip side the Cleveland Browns haven't yet won the World Cup...
yes, and . . .
I sat on the couch, sipped my Stone Pale Ale, and watched the Dodgers' struggle to retire the Pirates in the first inning. Nolan walked into the room and said, "Who are you cheering for?" The answer was obvious, so I said, "Lakers." He nodded his head thoughtfully. "I'm cheering for the Phoeni...

Wil, Carcassonne rocks! There are all sorts of fun strategies to play with it. But here is one to work on -- places farmers early...
It is a very fun game, and at around an hour for a game its very playable. Its not like monopoly where you start playing and can get yourself into a 3 hour marathon, and even get cornered into dead heats...
If you enjoy it, do think about getting the expansion packs, they add a nice dimension to the game.
in which I buy some games to play with my family
So after I got the kids from school, I took a list and went to my friendly local game shop (Game Zone, in Pasadena, close enough to walk to Comics Factory, and Gold Line friendly, if you're local and the goddamn wind hasn't blown you into Orange County¹) Game Empire is about 2/3 open gaming area...

Okay.. so I'm not sure if this is my first comment on your blog, but I'm a WWdN (in exile) lurker.. I use the RSS reader to lemme know that there is a new post, then I'll fire it up in Safari.
My two cents, move www.wilwheaton.net's current stuff onto an archive page (archive.wilwheaton.net, or maybe www.whilweatonarchive.net..) Then follow metagrrrl's lead and have typepad host at wilwheaton.net...
I don't know about you, but I consider my domain my online home, and I'm not sure I could stand being out of it for almost six months, but unlike your old cranky physical home its a bit easy to drop a new website on your domain, so why not do it?
Cliff
less than you think
Moving back to wilwheaton.net becomes less and less of a priority every day. The number of people who read what I write via some form of syndication outnumbers the number of people who come to the actual site, and the number of you who take the time to comment (which actually means a lot to me -...
