as a journalist, I understand completely. I've held the job I currently have now for almost three years, and the things I used to get excited about doing (blogging, editing, etc) are more chorelike than ever before. I'm still looking for a way to bring back the passion I once had for non-work writing.

oddly enough, I often get scolded by my friends that I'm not constantly connected to Twitter - especially on weekends - so I'm not always up on the latest thing they said. It hit a breaking point when my husband asked me if I'd read his latest blog entry about issues he was having at work rather than talking to me about issues he was having at work.
