she's great and i do believe morning becomes eclectic will reveal a gem once in awhile but c'mon. eclectic? i've always thought they should call it morning becomes pretty much the same. i would say the VAST majority of the music on that show falls into the same genre. which in my mind does not supply a multifarious musical experience. i hope that doesn't sound snarky because i don't mean it to. although i feel kind of snarky. where's my coffee?????

do you know the sneak attack way to get from pasadena into town? you take the 2 and get off at fletcher dr. it dumps you out in los feliz. and from there you can conquer the world. or at least the eastside. -polly

Shazzam! That's why you're so awesome, Wil. Because you're like, beyond Geek. And that's high compliment coming from me, someone who is Not So Much Geek, or Geek Lite, if you will. (I so wanted to write if you Wil, but I thought that'd be going overboard.) On a totally separate note, since I am mad procrastinating my work by writing inane messages on your site - aren't the clouds outside wonderful?!!

Q: Why don't you own an iPhone?!?!

when one door closes another opens. i love the fact that you, wil, are lamenting this cool artist not getting credit so you put her on your blog and then i read it and listen to zoe's fantasticalness and i and others go buy her music because she is so amazing. supercalifragilisticexpeealedocious.

Ashland?! I'm packing up the husband and dogs - ROAD TRIP! Yeah right. I wish. Speaking of tea, however, have you been to Leaforever at the Paseo? My husband will drive all the way to the 'dena just to bask in the warm fragrant glory of that place. Re: the italics. Maybe TypePad thinks we're all just being really, really ironic.

voted at the cheviot hills rec center on motor. happily waited over an hour from about 10am to 11:30. chatted with people in line, kissed babies. the poll workers said that the line started at about 5:30am and it had been an hour/hour and a half wait all day. most important to me was pres and prop 8 but looked into everything on the ballot and voted on it. my husband and i had someone take pictures of us in front of the polling place cuz this is HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah - gotta say i was in the fart camp when i first saw it. although that may have something to do with the fact that the dogs tricked my husband and i both into feeding them last night (so they got two portions) and it's been stank-o-rama around here for reals. also, totally unrelated. i was driving home from burbank last night on the 405 right around where the getty is and this giant police helicopter was shining its light on the side of the hill there where it's all dark and next thing you know i see this white car appear in the spot light and it tumbles end over end down the hill and then tumble tumble lands right side up directly onto the slow lane of the north bound side of the 405. and then a police cruiser comes speeding by at like 150 mph and then i was too far away to see what else happened. like i said, totally unrelated to farts, rainbows, unicorns, dogs, wheels, or stars but... i dunno. it just needed to be said.

Acting can be a strange way of meeting people. I did a show called Line of Fire a few years ago with William Mapother where I was prostitute to his John. Like, hi nice to meet you, now I must straddle you in your tightie whiteys. Okay great working with you. Bye. Completely. Bizarre. I'm totally looking forward to your Criminal Minds tonight. Sounds like your experience was awesome and you didn't have to do any random man-straddling. Cheers!

this also makes my brain jump to a seldom accessed memory of mine. i grew up in the SF bay area, and when i was about oh - maybe 8 or 9 - my cousin went out a few times with the guy who lived down the street. his name was steve jobs. one time he came over while my cousin was babysitting me and we all played trivial pursuit and i totally won. because they let me. and then he totally won. because he started a frickin revolution.
