hi ethan and all, i loved your "all our reasons" post and i'm excited to get my hands on the new billy hart, legitimately. what i wonder is, what is the best way to buy the album so that the musicians see as much of the profit as possible? in terms of both money and kudos? i worry about buying from sites like amazon-- in fact, if my increasingly untrustworthy memory serves, i believe we bought our first TBP albums right from your website. that, and the old virgin store in the city of angels. in that respect i totally get max's lady gaga comment... who's reaping the reward? but filesharing, meh. yes, in leaner days, if it had to be done... but now? come on, with sites like pandora and spotify and iheartradio multiplying like rabbits, you can get your music fix (and be introduced to new music as a bonus) easily and without theft, until you have enough pennies for the real thing.
