Is the Pink Floyd title a clue? Also...you have Hockey in LA? Since when?
something stirs and something tries and starts to climb toward the light
I worked on [REDACTED] today, and had more fun than I thought possible. I can't say anything more until July. Tomorrow, I work on [REDACTED], which is different from [REDACTED], but should be really awesome, too. I can't believe I get to spend two days working with [ACTORS]. (It was a lot easier...
My 12 year old son is currently obsessed with TableTop, and Cthulhu, and a certain redheaded Flog girl (but that's a whole different thing) he's going to love this clip. Love the show Wil ...thanks greatly.
Some #Tabletop outtakes from our last episode... and Cthulhu
Here's some stuff we cut out of last week's episode of Tabletop, featuring a looooooong intro by me, for your amusement. (Please enjoy how much people complain in the YouTube comments because my intro is longer than the outtakes I'm introducing. Awesome.)
My 12 year old son and I bought Tsuro and Settlers this weekend at a local hobby store I didn't even know existed a week ago. Spent about a hundred bucks before I dragged him out of there and that was after talking him out of a big plushy Cthulhu doll. We both are digging Table Top and the time together. On a side note...he's also obsessed with The Flog and I think he's got a crush on Felicia Day....can't say I blame him. Thanks Wil!!
More from behind the scenes at Tabletop
In my gaming group, I am not the guy who is good at explaining rules (that guy would be Tom D., when he plays with us, or my friend Cal M., the rest of the time) so the part of Tabletop I was the most anxious about is that segment at the beginning of the show where I explain the rules of the gam...
Sparks McGee has no need for such things. His erection runs wild all on it's own.
I spent way too much time on this.
So this incredibly entertaining bit of spam arrived in my inbox last night: I just want to thank Nash Morton (who I'm sure owns a yacht, wears the finest silk shirts and only the fanciest of pants) for giving my e-mail address to his friend, who is so concerned about how many wild runnings I m...
You know what sucked....when I was supposed to be on Half Moon Cay last August and Hurricane Irene went there instead of me. As much as I liked the extra day in Baltimore, I'm thinking Half Moon Cay would have not sucked even more. Glad they fixed her up for you Wil....(sigh)
I am no longer on a boat. This is a thing that happened when I was on a boat.
I'm getting better at writing titles that have something to do with the content of the post, I think, and for that I am going to celebrate with a quick spin in my chair. WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Okay, now that we've gotten that out of the way, here's something that happened when I was on a boat. Well, ...
Is that a can of NEW COKE!!! hiding in the bushes behind your giant Reeboks?
I'll be the one with my heart in my lap
I put this on Tumblr earlier today. It deserves to be here, too, I think: Two things jump out at me in this picture: 1. Holy shit those shoes are huge. 2. I don’t look nervous or uncomfortable; I look genuinely happy. That, combined with my haircut, makes me think that this must have been t...
You need to finish this!! Great start!! I liked it so much I was going to pay for it AFTER I read it, but my phone was being wonky, so I bought "Just a Geek" using the Kindle Android app. Loved that too!!
HUNTER is here.
Hunter is a short Sci-Fi story set in a dark and desperate world. It is just about 2500 words, which is about the length of a story you'd read in a magazine. I'm not really sure what the appropriate cost is, so I'm experimenting with the Pay What You Want model that seems to be working really we...
"That kid's a dick" I literally shot coffee out my nose when I read that....it kinda hurt!
in which Highlights for Children is discussed at great length
Last night, on the way home from dinner, I asked Anne, "Do you remember Highlights for Children?" "Of course I do," she said, "I remember how I hated going to the doctor when I was a kid, until I started reading Highlights in the waiting room." "Turn right at this intersection," I said, "and Tra...
