David, As you are aware, the foundation upon which ExecuNet was been built is driven by networking so naturally I was pleased but not surprised to read your post. The average age of our current membership is 52, so we are very familiar with the challenges of making a job change after 50, and the current state of the job market simply adds to the challenge. That said, and as your post points out, that doesn't mean it can't and doesn't happen.
