Someone really needs to make those Wesley Crushers bowling shirts.

The Wheaton Recurrence
It's Sunday afternoon as I write this. I can't publish this manually, because if I've read my call sheet correctly, I'm currently playing Dr. Isaac Parrish on Eureka. If we're on schedule, I'm working in a scene with Erica, Colin, and Neil. If my experience on the show so far is any indication, ...
Would better involve a particular metal bikini? ;)

I am 110% in agreement with you, Mike. What's scary is that I semi-called that somehow EWW would meddle in Penny and Leonard's relationship this episode.

Amen to that one, Mike!

You should have made an exception for this one, DrGaellon :)

It would be cool to see him as a regular character, but I'm afraid it would take away from the other interactions. I think he'd become more Newman to Seinfeld than Lex to Superman as a result. Even Lex wasn't in every episode of Superman.
Also, I must become a member of the Wesley Crushers. That shirt reeked of awesomesauce.
So, Wil ... Whoopi ... you hit that, right? LOL

It would be brilliant for CBS to pick them up to help continue this storyline even further!
Many Bothans died to bring you this...
I'm in Canada, working on Eureka, so I couldn't watch the previews CBS put online for The Wheaton Recurrence. Using all of my Evil Wil Wheaton powers, I contacted a sympathetic mole deep within the CBS Fortress of Power and got my hands on this preview.* I'm sorry I had to disable embedding, but...
Dialed back until he is ready to strike with a fury on our favorite little Moon Pie ... BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Sir, you and the writers of The Big Bang Theory, have masterfully created a character that is a Moriarty to Sheldon's Holmes. And have done it in a way where one doesn't not have to root for either one to enjoy the battle between them. I applaud your combined skills and wait eagerly for Monday's show
Well said! I am very much looking forward to seeing this episode.
I realize Wil is Sheldon's foil, but wouldn't it be great to see him become the same for the rest of the cast?

BTW, Wil ... that MC Frontalot song is awesome and I am looking forward to getting his album when it drops!
Radio Free Burrito: Episode Twenty-Two
Holy Crap, it's time for a new episode of Radio Free Burrito! I had a ridiculously good time putting this show together, even though I didn't plan any of the stuff that ended up being so fun to create. Show Notes: The logo was designed by WWdN:iX reader Marc, who asked that I not link to his "...
O ... M ... G!
That was so cool it defies explanation. thanks for sharing that!
Have fun working BBT today. Looking forward to finding out when the episode will be on :)
The Who's Baba O'Reily, played using only items from Think Geek.
I watched this while trying to drink my coffee this morning. I say "trying" because I just sat here with my mouth hanging open until the whole thing was over. This is pure brilliance. Anyway, it seems appropriate to share this as I'm going out the door to start work on The Big Bang Theory: ...
After a long weekend that pretty much had me afk the entire time, I finally got the opportunity to read this. All I can do is quote the great philosopher Peter Griffin:
FRICKIN' SWEET!
Evil Wil Wheaton returns to The Big Bang Theory
Well, it's official. Evil Wil Wheaton is going back to The Big Bang Theory! From TV Guide Magazine: Geeks everywhere will be happy hear that Star Trek star Wil Wheaton will be returning to hang out with TV’s hippest nerds on The Big Bang Theory. “We were very excited when Wil Wheaton appeared...
Yes! Just as there is a PAX East, there MUST be a wootstock East!
Make it so, Admiral Wheaton :)
in which w00tstock 2.0 and 2.0.1 are announced
When we did w00tstock 1.x last year, we all hoped it would be successful enough to warrant taking the show on the road to some of our favorite cities. Well, w00tstock 1.x was so much fun for us and the audiences who saw it, it didn't just warrant it, it WINGER'd it. Hell, it may even have Damn Y...
OMG ... I just had a shutter.
We have been working on a new website for people to track my son'd progress. Now, granted, I'm not a web designer that boasts nearly the number of levels of awesome as you, but I can hack and slash my way through things and at least have a marginally decent design.
We went live with the new site this week. my wife looked at it and immediately said she didn't like the look and wanted to change it. She designs cards using photoshop, so I trust her judgement; however, I hope she does not have terribly unrealistic expectations.
I'll be consulting with our website services guy this weekend to make sure we are all on the same page. On the plus side, my wife doesn't want to talk to the guy, so this won't end up being one of those freaky conference calls LOL
Why I'm sometimes stabby after a day at work
Some of you might wonder why I'm sometimes stabby after a day at work. After all, how hard can it be, making pretty trash, wrangling designers, and drinking coffee? O my children, you do not know the true horrors. But this cartoon from The Oatmeal, "How a Web Design Goes Straight to Hell," has d...
I find that really interesting. I'm afraid that if I had that kind of focus I'd still break. Then again, that's why you're the actor and I'm not :)
A few other questions:
Is there a particular comedic actor/actress you would love to work with?
You mentioned getting to meet Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) after his show. Did he happen to have someone playing Captain Carl? I would be curious to see who he asked to play that role in his act after Phil Hartman's untimely death.
Wow, nice shirt . . . Moonpie.
I love that this line has been immortalized in T-shirt form , not only because it's one of the funniest in the episode, but when we were rehearsing the scene it comes from, I grew a level in comedy acting: During one of the run throughs, when Jim did his Klingon bit, I turned to Kevin and as...
I try to catch that show when I can and love it. Not only is it really funny, but it has two of my fave actors from my generation in it :)

I will have to agree that Twitter has been a resource that I never imagined was going to be of use to me when I joined. Through it, though, I have made friends with several people who want to do everything from simply chat to promote my son's blog (@PrayForAidan). Plus, I've been able to connect with (and quasi-stalk ;)) some of my favorite celebs (you, Levar and Brent just to name a few)
in which the impact of twitter on my life is examined, and thanks is given to @ev and @biz
When my friend Sean first told me about Twitter, I just didn't get it. "I already have a blog," I said. "Why would I want to tell anyone where I am or what I'm doing ... and why would anyone care?" Still, I signed up so I could have an account (I have to do a lot of this "defensive registering" ...
"I did a lot of my laughing when I wasn't in the scene. When I was in a scene, I was so focussed on being Evil Wil Wheaton and not screwing up, I didn't have the luxury of breaking"
So you are telling us you had absolutely no blooper-worthy moments when they were filming you?

I am so bummed. I had this beautiful comment about making mix tapes, playing D&D for the first time, becoming a fan of podcasts thanks to Wil, and creating ringtones about "[My] Friend Wil". I posted it and nothing happened, then I accidentally closed the tab. I think I am going to cry :`(
