I am a granddaughter of David Martin Ragle, so I can give you a little more information about him and his family. His first wife was Emma Ward Ragle, the mother of their 8 children. Emma died while my mother (the youngest of the eight) was an infant. I never knew Jennie, but apparently my grandpa married her for a while and they were then divorced. The eight children, all of whom are now deceased, were as follows (not necessarily in this order): Lela--married Boone Tucker Ward--wife's name was Marian Pearl--married Hubert Patterson Tom--wife's name was Ida Lee--wife's name was Jettie. (I think her maiden name was Pearson; I'm not sure.) Reuben--wife's name was Josie Bessie--married Treat Gilbert Lorene--married John Codis Niblett.
