Ayahuaska daugther, who decided to become human, when she realized that humans are the only spcies who are aware that life comes to an end. A good representation of her spirit are the white pure spirits in Avatar. She loves the movie cause it reminds her of her truth home, where she ll go back once this adventure of life is finished.
Interests: emotions, textures, life: colors, feeling the wind. get out of this life as mush as i can while i can

Yes!!! and that s refreshing at the script level, where we usually have to see the "the hero" as a male character. It s so nice to see how both characters are "heros" and by using their own qualities do "their job", it s truly interesting that Jake starts his joruney into "salvation" thanks to "her". I was so happy about that. To see that they fall in love, not due to a need, but they consolidate themselves as a couple when both of them are able to stand with "their own feet": they are independent and in love with each other, without "needing" each other, which is a beautiful and pure concept of love.
One of the things I love about this movie! it s that they dont present the female character as some weak girl in the need of the help who cant do anything by herself (thing that really bother me in... Continue reading

Thanks.
What a beautiful pic, one of the things i love about this move it s how they represent the "presence" of the characters. When you train to be an actor or an actrees one of the chanlenges is to work on the presence on stage, the energy and to comit to the moment. I love how they have captured this concepts in the art. Love it! Paola

I think the most important message for me is that we always have a choice to change our lifes, and that we all belong to a same energy, if you harm the others, you harm yourself. By others i mean... Continue reading

thanks i checked them out, i dont have photoshop now, and when i did i was very bad at it. I was told there was like some webpage where u can turn pic into an avatar but i guess they took out of the web for some reason. :(
Like any other piece of art, Avatar for me it s contextualized on time and like any other film has a message to comunicate. It s undeniable that the enviromental topic is in our agenda these days. The beautiful thing for me about this movie, it s that it not only presents the social agenda, nowadays, wich already shows a sensitivity from the artist, but also works and explores very "human" issues like love, respect, fear, anger, etc. I think that s very interesting, cause this exploration is not only on the script which usually happens with movies, but it s deeply conected to the visual art. One of my favorites things about this movie is that we can feel so close to this avatar "alliens" cause the film has been worked so neat in a way that, eventhough, they are blue, and have a tail, they are so human too. And vice versa, in the main character we can see, eventhough, he is human he has so much inside of him of the avatar world. This exploration and presentation of the human being it s truly beautiful and inteligent. I love this movie to tears On a first level, everyone wants to be blue, and jump and have beautiful skin light, but I think the avatar philosophy is much closer to human beings than we think. This movie makes you put urself in an scenario where u have to choose, and dare having a different life. When I saw the movie I saw the two natures of the human being fighting each other. Phrases like "i see you" or " we are all part of the same energy" the comunication with nature, all of that has been done by humans too, we can see it in the precultures like the Incas and Mayas. I dont think it s fair to say "this is just a movie", I think this is a very inteligent exploration of human nature and a good motivation to think who we really are and what we really want to make out of this life. We can see during every second of the movie, exploration and investigation of different realities, and the human nature, which makes this movie truly unique and beuatiful.
what happened to "avatar yourself"is it still posible? i checked out the link but seems to be broken. Continue reading

I think this movie is bonding a generation, but not based on age or likes, but byt creating a reference, for all of us that were lucky enough to be able to see it. I believe it will be an artistic and cultural reference for a long time. And I m glad we are bonding through this beautiful and meaningful film that puts in media agenda topics as nature, respect, freedom and life as gift itself.

Here in Peru we are defending, we just had a revolution by the jungle not so far ago because of this, the thing is that our people dont have cool arrows, or super skills to defend themselves. And no one cares about this but us.
After seeing the movie, I left in tears of happiness. The movie is so beautiful and it resembles my home so much. Our rainforest, our rivers, our trees, our believes: "we all are part of one energy and eventually we... Continue reading

I cant agree more! being from southamerica. I see my own land in that movie. In Peru you can see places as beautiful as those, personally when i saw the movie i felt like i was having a flashback of the time i spent in my rainforest by the amazon river. And I felt worried cause i know "americans" and "europeans" will come when they realize they can not eat money, and they will destroy as they are doing it now what it s not meant to be touched. I hope Bush and his clan of "finders keepers" never find my land. Although, Bush came to Peru like 6 times in 2 years, companies are killing our trees and rivers to have gold and oil. is it so hard to just leave us alone! and start taking care of what they still have, instead of destroying their own home and then go somewhere else to keep destroying. I hope this movie touches "americans" and "europeans" as deeply as it touched me, and that they stay away from us.
