Frish, Gregory How about a public debate with a format of your design. I will do what I can to have it broadcast by KVMR as a news special. Also it's po0ssible it could be broadcast on NCTV as well. Let me know yout thoughts on the idea. Lets migrate to the Sandbox on this idea.
George Not a peep from you on the Repub rollover on TPP. "WASHINGTON — Key congressional leaders agreed on Thursday on legislation to give President Obama special authority to finish negotiating one of the world’s largest trade accords, opening a rare battle that aligns the president with Republicans against a broad coalition of Democrats." http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/17/business/obama-trade-legislation-fast-track-authority-trans-pacific-partnership.html?_r=0

The Pubbers and the Democrats have no problem getting along when it comes important business, serving international corporations. Those of you that think a Republican government will lead us to the promised land make me laugh. No douby ANY eventua lRepublican Pres nominee will support this. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/04/16/fast-track-trade_n_7078804.html WASHINGTON -- The two top lawmakers on the Senate Finance Committee announced Thursday that they are nearing a deal on a bill to give President Barack Obama the fast-track authority that he will need to push mammoth new trade deals through Congress. "We've had a very positive set of discussions, and we are in my opinion close to reaching an agreement on Trade Promotion Authority," said committee Chairman Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah)...........Under these rules, the deals cannot be amended or obstructed by procedures, and they get a simple up-or-down vote. That fast track authority would likely pave the way for both the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership agreement with the European Union, and the Trans-Pacific Partnership with a dozen Asian nations. Both deals are larger than NAFTA."

George, to the extent that you believe that A21 is part of the plan to create world sociologist government that qualifies it in my mind to being a conspiracy to achieve a goal that was not part of the public record. I'm sure you believe that the end results of A21 is harmful Here is part of a Webster definition of conspiracy "a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. "a conspiracy to destroy the government"

Fish None of those got the attention of the CIA to the extent that caused Tenet to "pick up the white phone" something that ht hadn't done previously in his tenure as head of the CIA.

Fish I never said that Bush knew, What I said was that we had a massive failure of security and it was on his watch. Well George somebody must have created Agenda 21 for a predetermined purpose that you claim has infiltrated the land use and environmental decision making process of even little Counties in California. That sounds like a conspiracy to me. Why do you say it isn't?

I agree Bill. That's why all the Agenda 21 Armageddon talk on this blog makes me laugh.

George My Uncle, who is 94, is a Pearl Harbor survivor. He believes that we were aware that an attack was in the works and that we allowed the hit to rouse us into war. That same view is held by many who believe the Neo-Cons desired the same and intentionally let our guard down to terrorism in this country.

George It needs to be emphasized the extend of Tenet's concern. Specifically he says that "Tenet said he could not recall another time in his seven years as director of the CIA that he sought such an urgent meeting at the White House." Either way 9-11 happened despite red alert intelligence warnings. You must agree that there was a failure by those responsible for defending our country in this matter. To whom do you attribute that failure?
Toggle Commented Apr 15, 2015 on Sandbox - 7apr15 at Rebane's Ruminations
"Why" is a very good question Joe. It is established fact that the Bush administration was informed numerous times from the CIA and other intelligence sources that an attack was imminent yet did nothing to increase security before 9-11. George there was pleanty of warning but it was ignored, CIA chief George Tenet himself writes " “This intelligence delivered on July 10 was specific and was generated within 24 hours of the meeting,” said the first official, who pointed out the text in the Tenet memoir. Tenet wrote about how after being briefed by his counterterrorism team on July 10 -- two months prior to the attacks -- “I picked up the big white secure phone on the left side of my desk -- the one with a direct line to Condi Rice -- and told her that I needed to see her immediately to provide an update on the al-Qaida threat.” Tenet said he could not recall another time in his seven years as director of the CIA that he sought such an urgent meeting at the White House. Rice agreed to the meeting immediately, and 15 minutes later, he was in Rice’s office." Despite this there was no followup to the specific concerns Tenet expressed. Why?????? I suggest reading the entire article for details http://investigations.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/11/13809524-evidence-piles-up-that-bush-administration-got-many-pre-911-warnings

I agree George. That's why I was so offended by the slimer Breitbart when he edited video segments out of context in the Shirley Sherrod story "Andrew Breitbart made a mistake. Based on a two-minute video excerpt of Shirley Sherrod's speech at an NAACP dinner last year, he accused her of practicing racism as a federal employee. He neglected to mention that in the excerpt, she was clearly talking about events in a different job 20 years ago. And when the rest of the video turned up, it proved that her story was about transcending her old racial resentment." http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/frame_game/2010/07/amen_canard.html

Well corrected Gregory. Let me change that to "licensing marriage"
George You are attempting to quantify a definition of religion for what purpose? My religion changes daily and is very personal and does not subscribe to many of your attributes. it is indeed my own inspiration and I feel no need to join in with others to celebrate, drink symbolic blood or engage in group chants or rituals. Religion is to me a personal celebration of consciousness and inspiration.
Oh Righties remind me why the government is in the business of sanctifying marriage anyway?
First of all George I was referring to the sale of MJ to minors not the sale of other drugs. I am opposed to the death penalty in general for religious reasons but even among those who support capital punishment use of that punishment for that crime would indeed be considered heinous when in reality a bunch of 19 year olds, for example, who distributed MJ to minors were put up against a wall and shot. If that's not heinous I don't know what is.

It might be accident genius but I meant to write "condemn both".
Toggle Commented Apr 3, 2015 on Sandbox - 30mar15 at Rebane's Ruminations
George what is the reason you don't condom both as "heinous acts" ? I gave Todd several chances to characterize his statement as sarcastic but he's dead serious. Also what is your threshold of unacceptable characterizations of those who participate on this blog? "Bigoted fascists" used to describe yourself, Fish or Gregory for example would surely result in a quick deletion and condemnation but apparently not when it's used the other way. You can do whatever you want because it's your party but I'm curious what standards you apply to your discretion as to suitable material.
