Thankyou all for the great comments, some complimentary and some not so much, but that's ok.
For those who took offence at my statement of international representation, you are of course right, I should not have been so presumptuous and for this please accept my humble apology.
For the rest, I'm not an Apple fanboy but what I was taking exception to was the lack of information as to what is going on. I was happily and patiently waiting for the promised end of April launch. I was angry when Apple released the news of the change and probably not the best state of mind to write to anyone let alone Apple.
With hindsight it would have been better to say nothing but it has been an interesting experience stirring up the hornets nest that is the Apple community :-)
I look forward to seeing more comments.
Here's to a successful end of May international launch of the iPad. Of course, going by the past few months that's not a guaranteed certainty.
