Priest Lake, Idaho (May 18, 2015) – The Idaho Panhandle National Forests Supervisor, Mary Farnsworth, has signed the Decision Memo for the Jasper Mountain project, located approximately 8.5 miles north of Priest River and approximately 14 miles south of Priest Lake. The project area is located entirely within the wildland urban interface (WUI) and was designated by the Secretary of Agriculture in May 2014 as part of an insect and disease treatment program, as requested by the Governor of Idaho. 25 mile endurance or 12 mile division of intermediate to advanced riding. A mix of double track and singletrack riding in the pristine Panhandle National Forest by Priest Lake Idaho. Course singletrack has sections of low chain ring climbs, some fast downhill, groves of HUGE cedar trees, and lots of turns. Trail is a mix of smooth cut singletrack tread with rock and roots.
