Diancha was unaware that her impish brother lurked behind her. She would learn that day that storing her extra marbles in her mouth was unwise. Her brother would also learn two new ways to remove flaming underwear without burning his toes. Yossep, (not pictured) was not there. Continue reading

Gerald "Buffy" Hute seemed very studious. When confronted though, he admitted that he never read any of the chemistry books; he just looked at the pictures. They made him Dean of the College. Continue reading

Actually Route and Sorbell weren’t real twins at all. Route actually was left on our street by gypsies and Mom said she didn’t know where Sorbell came from. But they always dressed alike and neither one of them could pronounce “billfold” correctly. Continue reading

This is thought to be the only surviving picture of Honor Knightly (aka “Satin”) the elusive department store heiress and stenographer for the Kairian Luncheon Club. Thorne Smith thought very highly of her but she still faded into obscurity behind Cosmo Topper and the ghost-dog, Neil. She was quite fond of changing clothes and of gentlemen standing in doorways to avoid the rain. (That’s for those of you who read.) Honor became known as a fashion-plate and clothes horse to those who knew her at the shelter. She spent most of her leisure time, which was most of her time,... Continue reading

“Sindy” (far right) had just taken the year’s cross-dressing championships at Fort Worth. “Sindy” was a stage name. Her real name has no vowels. Hazel, second from right, embarrassed about her “condition” hid behind Blanch and “Sindy” so only her face would show for the camera. Coleman, remaining in the shadows, was weary of the big city life and moved to an island in the Pacific Ocean. She soon tired of that when the US navy anchored their entire fleet at a harbor on the other side of the island. Toulouse, third from left, swallowed a live frog once but... Continue reading

Ms Showalter, CEO of the bellwether software and web-management company, SoftWeb Inc. knew how to ward off the hostile takeover by some of her own board members. She met with them privately, one by one in back of the corporate offices and beat the crap out of them. Continue reading

It was Melanie’s headband, and she was keeping it. It was given to her on that romantic ride with “Standback” and his motorcycle gang out along the city drainage canal. Melanie’s mother had advised her from childhood to save herself and not fall for the first man that came along; to look around; to play the field; to look deep. Now, at 42 she was very glad she honored her mother’s advice. “Standback” was the perfect match for her. She had thought Eldon Shrough was the perfect match too but he disappeared after only 8 years. And there was Tudie... Continue reading

Beverly was about to burst. This morning Cyril had used her best bowl to selfishly eat all the cold Sugar Clod Cereal so he could get the popular Pixie Powder Girl pin from the bottom of the box. Beverly swore it was his swan song, his ultimate sonata. It was serious enough he insisted on sampling her shoes and sleeping in her slip, now, there he sat, posing in her satin step-ins. Beverly bought her bus ticket by saving buttons in the bottom drawer of her bureau. Saturday, she and baby Boop-Bop-Sh’Bam would be safely secreted in the spare room... Continue reading
