Cornwall in pictures...
Cornwall looks stunning at this time of year, even in the rain. I've just discovered Instagram - can you tell! No beach for me this visit - a streaming cold has kept me close to home, but the lanes around... Continue reading

Five Swallows Go to the Office
A few weeks ago, I posted a pic on my Facebook Page of an old flour sack that I had purchased on eBay. I wasn't sure what I would make of it, but I knew I loved it and therefore had to have it. I didn't mind that there had been a printing error on it. That made it all the more loveable to...

Things I'm Loving Right Now
1. Crisp sunshiney days - making me feel energised. 2. My new pillow from M&S - making me sleep well. 3. Spending an Amazon voucher on new books. 4. Fireworks. 5. The excitement of having 3 rooms decorated (although not... Continue reading

Well I couldn't spot any errors! He's gorgeous, and I'm looking forward to seeing him in situ when you start your Christmas decorating. X
A little stitching
My reading glasses are lost and have been for about a year, I think. It didn't seem like a great tragedy - I hated wearing them anyway. Mostly because I had to take off my normal glasses to do so and was thus rendered mole like if I needed to look at anything more than a foot away. I know this i...
I'm still reading and I was 6 years ago too! I have a real love hate relationship with my blog sometimes. I really enjoy writing it but I find the photos time consuming and the lack of light certainly makes a difference. Also as I am running a business I don't want it to just be a "please visit my shop" kind of blog, but I have much less time for all the extra photogenic things I used to do. I tend to read other blogs on my iPhone so can't then comment. I love reading my own blog back and remembering things I've done, so I am trying to get back into it and be more motivated, but the sense of community isn't there for me anymore - mainly because I don't tend to comment. Still, I think this counts as several comments in one! Sorry for the essay but you got me thinking!
(Lovely flower by the way!) XX
Thoughts
As she often does Ali wrote a thought provoking post the other day (thank you!) about blogging and how it has changed over the years, the feeling of community was certainly strong when I started 6 years ago next month (blimey, I wonder if anyone who read it then still reads it now, well beside ...
I love the red bed! I've never had much luck with spray paint, but you obviously have the knack. Your room looks great - do you do holiday rentals?!! X
poppy red...
...after battling with my computer for the last little while and finally giving in by purchasing a new one, I'm online again and I'd like to rewind back to August when I discovered a lovely color of spray paint called "Poppy Red" at our lake house... I wanted to spruce up some garden furni...

We are going at the end of July - it is the highlight of the Summer for us. I'd happily run away and join them too!!
Red - Summer Colour Week
Giffords Circus has become synonymous with summer in Oxfordshire for us. A slightly muddy village green, the big top, painted wagons and the mechanical organ. Happy times.

He's adorable. If I didn't have a great hulking labrador I'd have one of these instead - they are very cute in real life as well as in brooch form! I'd love to give this one a home! XX
Hot Dog
With summer here and following all that moonlight, I thought it was the perfect time to give a little something. I love dogs - probably more than any other animal, which is a lot because I adore just about every creature. One of my faves has always been Doxies, which we called Frankfurter Dogs ...

What gorgeous pictures, and what a fabulous model Stella makes!! I have chicken and coop envy - I have a postage stamp of a garden so no chickens for me for a few years yet. Your bags will fly off the shelves I'm sure - they are so lovely. XX
A Little Help
Meet Stella. She is the biggest of my "girls". As my dear friend Antoinette puts it - she is the size of a cow. She means that in the most affectionate way. Her eggs are huge, and practically a meal in and of themselves. She was determined to help me in the taking of the pictures of ...
