Upcycling Izze
Finished the Izze bottle art project. Loved how it turned out. I sprayed the outside of the bottle with spray paint to cover up stickers on the bottle. I printed out some of my favorite pictures on regular paper and stuck them on the bootle with Mod Podge. I added some charms too. This one is go...
Pretty & Elegant
Saturday Night Frills
Finished my flower frill project. It wasn't to hard to make. Took about an hour maybe less. I used the Clover template from Michael's craft store. About $5. This is the small size. I suggest using sharp scissors made just for fabrics. And a small sized one. It'll make it a lot easier. You can us...
WOW! A great Mother's Day DIY Project.
Tissue Paper Flowers
Followed Martha Stewart's craft book on this one. So pretty. I wanted to try the crepe paper project but had trouble finding crepe paper. She has a project for fabric flowers I want to try as well. I bought some fabric stiffener for that. Can't wait. Ready to get my stiffener on!
Your crafty nerd! I love it!
Mixed Blues Flower Frill #2
Here's the second flower frill I made this afternoon. This time around I used two different types of fabric. The pattern polka dot is cotton and the solid baby blue is polyester. The polyester was a bit tricky to cut. I wouldn't recommend it. The polka dot cotton was much easier to work with. Ag...

oh my goodness! what awesome finds. : )
80's Cassette Tapes
Remember cassette tapes from the 80's? I discovered these long forgotten gems at a Goodwill store in San Jose, CA. Only 79 cents a piece. I just need a working 80's style cassette player. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. Maybe mount them on my wall as a nod to my youth. Or maybe ...
I can feel the creativity just from looking at this picture.
My Creative Space
Finally finished my 'lil creative nook in our apartment. I had a little trouble hanging the peg board. It's a two person job! It turned out great nonetheless. I painted the board with stripes. I added some baskets that were in storage. I also re-covered my magnetic calendar board with some decor...
a whole dollar?! whoa!
I'll Buy That For A Dollar!
Found these fabulous threads at the flea Market for a dollar each.
Great find/buy!
The Thinker
Found this little guy on Saturday at an artsy lady's yard sale. She had lots of cool art stuff. But no typewriter or record player. Shucks! Next time. Anyhoo, back to the pondering dude. Rodan's, The Thinker was only a dollar. He now resides on my window sill and yes, he's still thinking.
