You inspired me to try it out several years ago. I got my friends to play, we all sat down with the rules and immediately LOVED it. Even the guys girlfriends who hate all the "geek" games we play liked it (they even won some games) Although I lost out on several sets of games in a break up, I won the friends who like to play. If you like Munchkin, you'll love Chez Geek too!!

I too lost the presents I accepted today. Please make it so we can get them back!
That is SO AWESOME! I love that you're blogging about being on one of my favorite shows. I love that Timothy Hutton asked you about your book. I know you're geeking out, but I'm geeking out too for you. THAT IS SO COOL!

Everyone said what I wanted to say. Blink is the best episode of any show ever on TV...soooo creepy. Stephen Moffat is brilliant, if you haven't seen Coupling, you must. Jeff is hysterical. And Netflix has Jeckyll, the whole series to rent. I did, and all must do so as well. SUCH a great show! During the early 80's the Chicago Tribune printed the pattern for a Tom Baker-Doctor Who scarf, I made one for myself. First knitting project ever for me. I still have it and only wore it one day to college in an attempt to impress a guy, only kinda worked.

I was playing Rock Band with my sister, her husband and my boyfriend over Thanksgiving. My sister was on vocals and she started screwing around making up words, and singing La la la to the tune of some of the songs and that DID actually work. Although I wonder if it woked cuz she actually sings well, unlike me. I'm cool though, I play bass.

I think that parents today feel they don't have to change their lifestyle now that they have kids. They feel they can still go to the same movies they'd usually go to, and they bring thier infant children with them and it's disgusting. Although at the same time when I was a kid, my parents would watch the old Frankenstein and Dracula movies on TV (the old B&W ones) I remember watching Frankenstein and crying when the towns people would swarm him. Poor guy wasn't bad, he just had bad luck, he didn't know his own strength. My parents laughed thinking I was an odd child who cries when the monster dies.

I love the raspberry sorbet at Cold Stone. I usually have them add raspberries. The Watermelon Sorbet is really good too. I prefer sorbet to ice cream, it just tastes better.

My favorite to make people read has always been the Hitchhikers books by Douglas Adams. I'm not sure if that would be old or new. Anything else, has already been mentioned. (Timothy Zahn, Terry Pratchett, Ender's Game, Stranger in a Strange Land)

As a person who has not read any Spiderman comics, but did watch the Spiderman cartoons... I did not like #3. I felt it was all over the place, too many villains and everyone was crying all the time! What is this a super hero movie or a chick flick?? BAH! Don't waste your time, it will make you angry.

Will, if you've got Netflix or similar, add season one of HIMYM to your list. It's so funny. Robin Sparkles & Swarley are my two favorite episodes. Neil Patrick Harris is brilliant! Oh...and the recent Bridal Shower episode cracked me up.
