A hero, walking in the footsteps of Henry David Thoreau.

George H. W. Bush wasn't wrong calling it “voodoo economics.” The reason so many people revere him is that they see his heart as being in the right place (even though his head often wasn't.) He was all too willing to distort the truth for ideological ends, making up the notorious welfare queen story, for example. Good post, Mr. Navarro.

Surely the middle class with a declining standard of living must do all we can to help the rich get richer. The so-called socialist nations of Europe are well-off compared to privatized America. It's funny how people who are unaffected to the estate tax flock to defend gutting it. Ever hopeful of trickle down, instead of working to put labor on an equal footing with unearned income.

You'll have a hard time convincing me, but apparently not Scalia, that a cross is anything but a Christian symbol. Our government is constitutionally mandated to be neutral on religion. We don't put religious symbols on public property. The land transfer that accomplished this was a sham, as the appeals court rightly saw.
