Wow, what an exciting day! The children looked brilliant in their ‘future career’ outfits. We had Doctors, military, a judge, a YouTuber, business men, florists and even a unicorn, to name but a few. The children chose to learn more about either: sport, catering, design, emergency services, ICT or construction. It was lovely to see the children all working together, all day to find out more about a chosen career. Our special visitors throughout the day really helped to inspire, motivate and open our children eyes to new careers out in the world. Thank you to all of you who shared your expertise and experiences with the children, and the staff. Everyone had a thought provoking day. Who knows what impact today will have had? We will have to wait and see. This year, instead of the big Summer Fare, a mini one was organised for the children. Thank you to everyone who supported school, coming and spending your hard earned money. A special thanks to Mrs. Bradshaw – who made cakes, sweets kebabs, sweet cups and organised the games and stalls. We really couldn’t have done it without her! Although much smaller than previous years, it was still perfectly formed. Continue reading
