Thanks Gene - As some wise quilter once said, Finished is better than perfect - and that about sums up the way I do things! And I 100% agree with you on the criteria for success, if its used and loved then nothing else matters! Thanks for your comment - made my day! Nan

Hi Mimi - Thanks for your kind words!! I used Hobbs 80/20 - its the only batting I use because its so soft (after being washed.) It does look a bit fluffier though in the pics, maybe its the lighting?! Hope you have a lovely day! Nan

Hi Rachel - Thanks so much! I didnt do the quilting, I planned to but I was in a bit of a time crunch and my new fancy-schmancymachine decided to throw a fit so I had to take it to someone. I took the quilt toVicki Stratton, told her I needed it fast if possible and she said, Is tomorrow soon enough? Now thats what I call fast!! I picked the quilt up the next day, took three days to bind it (I hate binding!) and the next day it was on the plane to Perth! Small miracle Id say! xo, Nan

Hi! You have no idea how happy your comment made me - to think there is someone else out there who quilts the same way - YES! Either were not as crazy as every other quilter thinks or misery loves company - either way its good! Thanks for your kind words! Nan

Thank you so much! I will have to tell my mom and dad what you wrote - they do look young, and they act young, too! Maybe thats their secret - to always act they age you THINK you are?!? I dont know but I sure hope Ive inherited their youth genes! I have now fired the mister as my nurse, he changed the channels on my when I was sleeping and when I woke up the Kardashians were on and the remote was nowhere to be found!!! I had to suffer through 20 minutes of them before he returned! Oh well, all is good, I can hobble now with the best of them and Im even going to venture out today - I havent been in a grocery store in over a week, surely their sales have dropped and theyve missed me! Time to get back to cookin! Happy New Year to you! xo, Nan
