After years of my mother berating me for bad aim... I now live in an all woman (except myself) household and have discovered something I've never heard commented on: the encrustation of dried urine and pubic hair that can build up, unnoticed, under the front edge of the toilet seat. No doubt where it comes from... Actually, the dried urine was something my daughter caused me to notice long ago but I thought that was just a childhood thing...
