I'm watching Jason play it right now. I can't believe how lovely this game looks. I hope there's a demo up when the PSN Store comes back.
I have always personally defined evil as causing harm to someone willingly and without remorse.
Considering your well-documented former crush on Marina Sirtis, how weird and/or awesome is it going to be for you to watch Counselor Troi get boned? :)

You're lucky, stacye. My DM won't let us play anything less than "heroic." Look, just because my Euphoric Ardent was a morally ambiguous prostitute doesn't mean she was EVIL.

I wish Auto-Tune and YouTube had been around back in 1987 because now I kind of need to hear that as a dance remix meme thing.

Oh, that sounds like heaven. I spent the morning on my front porch with a cold cola and a warm sunshine bath, enjoying the outside world with my cat leashed to my ankle and smelling everything he could find in a 2-foot radius. It was awesome.

So Wil, do you think games were simply BETTER 20-30 years ago (good lord, I typed that and cried a little), or are they so much fun because of the nostalgia factor? I personally prefer older games because they were simpler to pick up and play, for the most part. No strategy guides the size of Rhode Island necessary, no 30,000 different buttons on a joypad, no bazillion sidequests. You pressed B and shot things in the head till they died. And while it's all fine and good to talk up the PSN or whatever, nothing beats sitting in the same room as your best friend playing, oh, Life Force or something together. I feel like I should be shaking a cane or something right now.

When I was a teenager, and understood what caused it and how planes were designed to handle it, it stopped freaking me out, but I always wanted to know about how long it would last. Oh, please explain. I am a horrible flyer, and have panic disorder on top of that. (And yet I still braved 7 hours on a plane to fly to ECCC, because you're THAT AWESOME.) :)

If at any point you end up telling Jack Thompson to suck your balls again, I'll be happy.

It was fantastic meeting you at the con, Wil. You absolutely made my day when you recognized me as "The Dire Rat Diplomacy Girl." :D As a sidebar, I thought you'd like this story: I have had HORRIBLE panic disorder for a good five years now, and ever since I made it through your meet-and-greet line without my brain spazzing out on me, I've actually noticed a dramatic drop-off in my anxiety - even what you call your awful (come on, it was awesome as hell) performance during Rock Band inspired me to go out and sing karaoke in public last night. (It was Not Good, but that was also Not the Point. XD) So honestly, just thank you, man. Thank you for being Wil, and for being so nice to someone like me that you've honest-to-Gygax given me the courage to face real life like I used to. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Totally made my Wil save. XD

FFII is your favorite? Honestly? Can I seriously ask why? I mean, it has a fantastic storyline and introduces some great concepts into the franchise, but that leveling system is just brain-numbingly terrible, you ask me. If it was just a standard XP grind like FFI, I think II would have been one of the greatest games in the series.

I'll be at ECCC; how does one get in on this action? Because I've got a Paladin who is kind of sitting around buffing her nails at this point.
