Here are the deleted scenes I know of: - The scene were Jake has longer hair, and is in a some type of casino, bookies (part of the trailer, and represents probably a retrospective on his life when he became a paraplegic) - Scenes of Grace teaching Na'vi English language and her bondage with Na'v...
Can you link this please.

According to wikipedia Avatar 2 is in post-production with a 2011 1st quarter release date, anyone else heard of this? would be pretty sweet if it was we would only have to wait a bit over a year witch is realistic since the majority of the work is already done with character design and ect.

I would like to see more of the Na'vi everyday life. Also would be great to see more of how Jake and Neytiri's relationship developed. The more the better, whatever the deleted scenes are. Continue reading

Yea, I want to buy that and the survival guide as well.
No title
Thats pretty harsh to say. I mean I can understand why you would side with the humans. As we were fighting for the earths survival, as we needed unobtanium or the earth will die.
Most people were motivated buy money, but from everything I have gathered Quartrich was fighting for human survival, fighting for what he believed in. He may have seemed like a mindless beast, but he has had to harden up after going through so much.
Killing Na'vi, or further more people is not easy, and sometimes you got to make fun of it or find other ways to make it easier to not really think about it. He did destroy hometree with minimal casualties. And why would he fight till his last breath? Because he was fighting for what he believed in.

for some reason i felt no remorse when hometree went down... i totally side with the humans; i would fight against the na'vi
I agree, Pandora and the Na'vi are a perfect dream. I too would without a doubt give up all this that I have here to be a part of that life.

One of the main reasons why I believe so many people were touched by Avatar, is because this movie is the first in which we could not distinguish what is real from what is not. I have only seen it at imax 3d however. The movie allowed a dream world to come true and it was the first one to do so. ...
Track 10, 11, and 12 are my favourites. I have felt the same way, well when I watch it I am really happy and I feel great going on this adventure. When its over however theres a deep depression, for really many reasons, one being I wish I could live that, another is a realization that I'm back here on earth... not Pandora anymore.
Writing sounds like a great idea, how is it helping you cope?

Ever since i saw the movie, iv had funny feelings (mostly depression). And after seeing the movie the second time, it really hit hard. i found it hard to cope without the movie. The only music i listen to is from the soundtrack. Tracks 10 and 11 are so beautiful and saddening. The only way i can ...
I feel exactly the same way as you.

This movie is amazing and touching in every way that it gives you the strange feeling of loss at then end. When the credits roll, you feel like you lost a part of you, and want to live in Pandora for yourself. This movie makes you see the flaws in humans and culture itself, and makes you feel sad...

I have heard from a lot of people that they were not planning on seeing Avatar at first. They thought it would be just some silly all action no story eye candy movie. I know myself I have talked pretty... Continue reading

It's not really jewelry, but Eytukan's bow was pretty cool. It seemed to be a special bow compared to the others, I'm guessing its the sign of tribe leadership.
What was your favorite jewelry piece in the movie?...
What was your favorite jewelry piece in the movie? It could be from Neytiri or Jake or any other Na'vi.
Wow, thats a beautiful quote. I've been there so many times in my life.
After he said that, I knew then there was no way he would remain a human, and he would become full time Na'vi.

Jake Sully: Everything is backwards now, like out there is the true world, and in here is the dream. I can't describe to you how much that applies to me and maybe even some of you, after watching the movie Avatar. I love Pandora, and it doesn't even exist.

I know right. I am going to see for the fourth time tonight. I really have never felt this way about a movie before. I use to think people were crazy for seeing a movie 2+ times in theaters and yet here I am lol.

I just came from cinema. It was thethe 4th time but every time is like the first time for me. Avatar fills me with such a deep emotions. This is incredible. I never felt like this in my whole life and I never watch good movie more then twice. I could watch it every day and every day find somethin...
Gah, thats way too long. Just waiting for the 2D is long enough, but the end of next year for 3D? Well I guess I should get as much Avatar as I can while its in theaters.
I'm very excited about the deleted scenes, I wonder what they will consist of? I will be getting any special edition that comes out the day it comes out 2D and 3D.
AVATAR on DVD (and 3D DVD)
If you'd like your own personal copy of AVATAR, hang on until late spring/summer 2010, when James Cameron says a 2-D version of the movie should come out, complete with deleted scenes of Na'vi tribal life. But how about a 3-D version? First there have to be enough Blu-ray DVD players in circul...

Only thing I have memorized. I would like to learn enough so I wont need to read the subtitles for the sequels, but then again im sure Na'vi will be all in English.
Learn the Na'vi Language
He wrote the sequels before the movie was even finished, so I'm sure theres a lot that can be changed. But yea, I really hope it remains on Pandora, but even if it does not I am sure I will enjoy it.

First off i have to say this. There are plans to make the sequel on a diff moon.. WTF! do you people not hear what these thousands of fans want? same jake and natiri! not some new moon crap. we ALL also want pandora.. James Cameron needs to at leased listen to the fans a little ffs! 2nd off best ...

Isn't it upsetting that Avatar is over? Once you see the movie, you think to yourself how amazing the movie is. Once you're alone in your room though, watching the trailer over and over again and listening to the sound track you can't help but to be upset... Something that great is over. =(
Yes Humans adapt the world... and some believe this is what makes us so special. Its what will make Jake so special from the rest I believe.

Yes. For me the message is that this world can be a much more beautiful world. Instead of using the world, we simply change it. The Na'vi and their way of living is just what i dream of.
I think the best thing to do with a soundtrack like this is to put on some head phones, turn off the lights, and lay down and really emurse your self into the music.

If you haven't yet I recommend buy/downloading the AVATAR Soundtrack from iTunes or any store that sells music. It is a remarkable score and will move you. My favorite song is "Becoming One of 'The People' Becoming One With Neytiri" What your favorite song?
I have to agree with nico, We associate the music we heard with the feelings we had while watching the movie. So if you were watching the movie and were very moved at the time, and music was playing, when you hear it again it will move you in the same way.
A note about the Avatar score from Jim Cameron:...
A note about the Avatar score from Jim Cameron: Our goal in making Avatar was to transport you not just to another world, not another planet in another star system. But the primeval world that has existed in our dreams since before our history began. To watch Avatar, especially in 3-D, is to drea...

I honsetly dont care about the graphics or game play. I just want to know that it does follow up with the story, and give us more about Pandora.

Any thoughts on the Avatar game? I was doing a lot of reading on this site http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Avatar_Wiki It seemed it got a lot of the info from the game. I'm pretty positive everything they did had to be OK'd by James Cameron, so sounds like it would be a great way to g...

If there's going to be a sequel, I wish the second one would show more of Pandora rather than showing other planets. It would be cool if we explore more on Pandora! :)
